Beware. They are going to automatically put an authorization on your insurance for glasses when you have your eye exam next door. This means if you decide to go elsewhere, it will show that you don’t have coverage for another year. WHY ARE THEY CLAIMING AN AUTHORIZATION WHEN YOU HAVEN'T PURCHASED GLASSES FROM THEM? They shouldn’t even be requesting an insurance authorization until the patient determines they are buying glasses from them. Now I have to sit on phone on eternal hold to have you remove the auths for me and my kids before I can get our glasses. I work for insurance and this doesn’t sound kosher.
