I had a very disappointing experience with Eye Clinic of Edmonds regarding their customer service and billing approach. I requested to postpone my appointment until my insurance (Humana) prior authorization was cleared. Instead of explaining their process kindly or offering a helpful solution, their response was essentially "we don’t do that, so we will just cancel all your appointments, or you can go somewhere else." It felt like they care far more about upfront exam fees and rigid internal rules than patient care and clear communication. The tone was dismissive and money-driven rather than patient-centered. I would recommend looking for a clinic that values patient concerns and shows genuine care.

My family, two adults and three kids have been going to this clinic for years. In our time here, we have had great experiences with the doctors especially as my husband and I are needing progressive support with our vision. We have also experienced very POSITIVE front office staff, especially over the past two years. Just got off the phone with the clinic to transfer my mom here and, that too, was an easy and upbeat experience. Grateful they take our family insurance and that of my senior mom.
I am a former patient at this clinic and have experienced all the negative experiences that the others have written about. It starts with the front desk and you’re lucky if they look up and see you. Then Dr Seto continues with the rude treatment and condescending way he spoke to me. I finally got sick of it and took my business elsewhere. What a treat to be warmly greeted, no waiting and the Dr and his assistant were also friendly and helpful. So glad I decided to leave the business that was treating me so terrible.
This place is really nice. The front desk seems rude but actually very nice. The technology is amazing. Moving to the back of the office all techs seemed nice and knowledgeable as well. I have also seen both gentleman had good bedside manners. Will go there again.
Zero stars if I could. My family of four has been going there for over 13 years, despite the rudeness of the Front Desk staff. This was the first place, since we moved to Edmonds, that we have experienced a new generation of rude Customer Service, and we have just come to expect it from this eye clinic as it is the only place close by our insurance covers. BUT, we will never go back now… I contracted a horrible virus (further explanation is protected under HIPAA) during international travels. I had an appointment three days upon my return, which I was unable to attend because I was so sick and did not want to spread this virus to other patients or the staff. I called the morning of the appointment to reschedule (and I did attend the new appointment the following week). I did ask if they were completely booked on the day I was sick, thinking they could offer my appointment to somebody else, and they said they had many openings that day. Do you think they appreciated my courteousness? NO! The rude Hispanic girl at the front desk didn’t even Informed me of their cancellation policy over the phone. No, they still sent me a bill for $75 for missing the first appointment. Another example, was before my trip I went in to look at frames, and I heard the Hispanic girl yelling at an elderly patient on the phone who did not understand an insurance mixup. I care enough for Fellow Edmonds neighbors not to get you sick by spreading my germs and I care enough to urge you DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS PLACE. They suck.
