Poor experience w these guys. They told me my glasses would take a week to 10 days. After it passed the 10 day mark, there was zero communication from them to provide an update. I had to call them to see whats taking so long. I called on a Friday and they told me there was an issue making the lens and should be here by monday. Monday comes and again no update and have to call them again. This time they tell me the frames are out of stock and will take another couple days. Won't be using Costco optical again. I recommend going somewhere else

I wish I could give them 10 stars! Dr Antonie was a peach to work with, we chatted about cars and when I raised my concerns with how an old optometrist dealt with my prescription he listened to me and fixed it. I have been going here for 13 years, I never should left to see a different optometrist for a year! Wonderful staff, wonderful doctors. I am so happy to be a patient of theirs again!

Dr. Yauren 10/10 she was wonderful and so fun and she did an amazing job. All the girls were so lovely and helpful this morning, they deserve so much praise. Keith was also amazing and helped me find the perfect pair of glasses and sunglasses.

I highly recommend Costco Optical in Nampa, Idaho for choosing frames and lenses. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I was diagnosed with an eye condition that required prism lenses. I hadn’t ever worn glasses before. Costco is two hours from my home so I first checked with our local eye clinic for pricing. For one pair with what I needed it was almost $900! I traveled to Costco in Nampa, Idaho for their estimate. For the three pair of glasses, I just ordered, it was under $400 for long distance and reading! The first person I worked with, and have for the past four years, was named Kayla. My experience of Kayla has been exceptional! I have learned so much through her about everything from the size of frame that would fit me best to how to properly clean the lenses. Every time Kayla sees me enter the optical area, sometimes just looking at the new lenses, she recognizes me, my dog we’ve talked about, my needs, and calls out to say hello before I’ve even approached the counter! She is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. As a CEO I’ve wondered what makes Kayla and the other folks who work there so personable and helpful. They all say it’s their manager who is very supportive of them and sets the tone. It’s a wonderful experience for me and my bank account every time I go there!

I've been going to Costco vision the last few years. My eye exams should be 10 dollars through my network and I am always charged an extra 30 plus This trip was 41 dollars. Just today I learn from my insurance provider they are conducting a "medical" exam for retinal screening which they have as "their standard" procedure. My insurance information me this is a medical procedure and why it is not covered. I was not informed of this procedure and is learned it is not a "Standard" in the exam but an option. Costco should inform patients of what is in their networks coverage and what the extra fees would be if they choose to have this "optional procedure" as it is not required to obtain new prescription for eye glasses or contacts. This is a nefarious act on Costcos part to fleece the patient out of money. I will not be going back. Do someone right and they will tell close friends and family. Do someone dirty and they will tell everyone with ears!
