I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience today deserves to be shared. Only two months ago, I purchased my glasses from Optical Outlets, paying approximately $350 between my insurance and my own money. I expected a quality product and customer service that matched the price. When I picked up my glasses, I was told that if I ever had any problems, I could simply come back and they would help me. Today, after only two months of normal use, the frame suddenly broke, causing one of the lenses to fall out. I returned to the store simply to ask whether my glasses were covered by any warranty or if there was a solution. What disappointed me the most was not the broken frame—it was the way I was treated by the front desk staff. Before I could even finish my first question, they immediately answered “No” in a rude, dismissive, and disrespectful tone. Every time I tried to explain my situation, I was interrupted. They would not let me finish speaking, they showed no interest in listening, and they made no effort whatsoever to offer a solution. Their attitude was cold, impatient, and arrogant, as if they owned the store instead of representing it. Sadly, this was not the first time I experienced this type of treatment from the front desk staff. Every visit has been the same: unfriendly, rushed, and completely lacking basic customer service. No customer should ever feel ignored or made to feel like a burden simply for asking a question about a product they purchased. I want to be very clear: the doctor who performed my eye exam was outstanding. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about his patients. My complaint is not about him. My complaint is entirely about the front desk staff, whose behavior completely overshadows the excellent work of the doctor. When someone spends hundreds of dollars on eyewear, they deserve respect, courtesy, and a willingness to help—not rude answers, interruptions, and an attitude that makes customers feel unwelcome. Because of this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere, even if it costs me more. Respect and good customer service are worth paying for. I sincerely hope management reads this review and understands that the biggest problem at this location is not the doctor or the products—it’s the front desk staff. They are damaging the reputation of the business and driving loyal customers away.

This is an amazing place. The doctor took the time to explain things to me. They help me pick out 4 pairs of glasses 1 for my computer, reading, 2 different ones for every day. I have received many compliments. It was worth the hour drive. Thank so to Micheal, Marissa, Erica.
09/01/26 My daughter had a appointment there yesterday mind you she's only 12 years old. So the doctor asked me did I want her pupils dilated I said yes. So when he went to dilate her eyes he put three different drops in each eyes so now you're looking at a total of six drops. Then he proceeded not to let her wipe it off her face or her chest. The drops ran down all into her mouth. He also pried my daughter's eyes open with his fingers because she's flinched and because he was hurting her eyes. Then it seems like he frustrated. Long story short my daughter was sick and had to miss a day at school and go to the hospital because he let the drops run down into her mouth. I do not recommend this place.
Marissa was absolutely great! Super friendly and very patient, especially being that I had a 9 year old who thought she wanted the entire store and couldn’t seem to make up her mind. Every question I had she made sure I had a clear understanding before leaving her desk. She honestly made the appointment super fun. Thanks Marissa you exampled great customer service.
I visited Optical Outlet today (08-08-26) because it was time for my yearly exam. Dr. Duante was the ophthalmologist who was working. He expressed excellent care when taking care of patients and their eyes. I was very pleased with Dr. Duante and his service even though I gave him wrong information. He did not miss a beat when correcting information. Dr. Duante made sure that I understood every step of taking care of my eyes when I left Optical . I look forward to going back to Optical Outlet and letting Dr. Duante take care of my eyes. He is a blessing to me and other people who have issues with our eyes. Good luck Dr. Duante and God Bless You!
