Eye Doctor`s Optical Outlet

I've been very happy going here for eyeglass and contacts prescription for the past year. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It's in a nice plaza in a safe area and the store is always clean. They have a great selection on glasses and contacts. Dr. Durante is a wonderful optometrist, he has me seeing 20/20 vision now...no more squinting! This place is great, especially if you have vision insurance. Thanks again for a very positive experience!

I had a great experience at Optical Outlet thanks to Leslie Rodriguez. She helped me with both my glasses and contacts and took the time to explain everything clearly. She went over my insurance with me, helped me understand the best options for my glasses, and made the whole process feel easy instead of stressful. She also explained the different screenings they do and what they are for, like checking eye pressure and other tests, which I really appreciated because I like knowing what’s being done and why. She was patient, kind, and really knowledgeable. Overall, Leslie made the entire visit smooth and comfortable. If you’re going to Optical Outlet, I definitely recommend asking for her.

The lady Leslie that was in the front desk did such an amazing job. i have ambetter and she pulled my insurance right there at the moment and informed me that i didnt have vision with my insurance but she went along and informed me amazing specials. I didnt know glasses can still be affordable without insurance. I will be calling her and setting up an appointment. We need more kind people in all jobs just like her. Very profesional nice and had such a great personality.

Had an excellent experience in April 2026 at the University Parkway office. Had an eye exam with Dr. Durante for my contact lenses and he was great. He explained everything clearly, offered suggestions, and also gave me a pair of new contacts to try out. The other 2 people that I encountered there were also excellent. Another plus was that they are 5 minutes from my house in Sarasota! Tom N.
