Eye Rx - Dumfries

I’m so impressed with this practice that I have to share. The showroom of frames is modern and beautiful and has some of the coolest, original and most colorful frames I’ve seen. The ladies on staff were kind, patient and solutions-oriented. Dr. Paul Coburn was so friendly and informative! He went through my test results and really took his time to explain what is happening with my eyes and next steps. They worked with my insurance to keep my out of pocket expenses down, too. My contacts are being shipped directly to my house, which is so convenient. Thank you!

I didn’t realize that the exams done at Eyesee Optique are done remotely. That means your consultation with an optometrist is done by video conference. The optometrist is able to conduct the exam remotely with some assistance from an employee onsite. It was a different experience from any previous optometrist I’ve visited, but it all worked out. Perhaps this is the future of optometry. My only concern was that the onsite employee assisting me seemed a little inexperienced and unsure how to use some of the equipment. Also, when my exam information was sent to the optometrist to review, there was wrong information that created some confusion. In the end, it all got sorted out and I was able to pick up my glasses the next day. If you’re comfortable with your optometrist seeing you remotely, then I recommend this location.

Just had an amazing experience with my daughter at Dr. Colbourne’s office. He walked us through our results in detail and made the whole exam feel comfortable and easy to understand. The staff was so sweet, patient, and super helpful, especially with picking out frames. Highly recommend booking your appointment here!

Dct Colburne is awesome. They have a wide huge selection of eye wear. The store is extremely nice. Plenty of parking and places to eat at the plaza. Highly recommend folks check them out. Eva the assistance there is absolutely wonderful. I live in Bristow, and it's worth the drive to Dumfries. I have learned to follow good doctors. Bye Now
