Eye Specialists of Mid-Florida – Lakeland Highlands

The staff at this location is super friendly, patient, and welcoming. From check in to check out and everything in between. The first young lady who took me to the back (wow I’m old, “young lady”) to get me started for my eye exam introduced herself and let me know what we were doing every step of the way. Dr. Falkner is friendly, attentive, and a top notch professional. Special shout out to Samantha, who helped me with my glasses! Informative, friendly, and (in my humble opinion) pretty dang funny. Whoever hired and/or manages this team did/is doing a great job! 10/10

I've had the pleasure of being seen at several locations, all of which are amazing. The Lakeland Highlands location is my favorite. The service is amazing and the people are so nice and helpful. Stephanie Moreno, in particular, is so sweet and treats you like family. She is so helpful when picking out your frames and explains all the features available for your new glasses. I am not a fan of glasses but due to an eye condition I am not able to wear my contacts as I have in the past. Stephanie made the process of ordering my glasses just the way I need them so easy. I would definitely recommend working with this location to everyone!!

Excellent experience! Dr. Falkner is an excellent doctor and very friendly. He took the time to answer all of my questions and address every concern I had. Both Mila and Dee were incredibly helpful, kind, and always willing to assist. They made the entire experience smooth and welcoming. I highly recommend this office!

Went here after reading positive reviews online and the service matched the reputation. The doctor checked my vision very carefully and noticed a slight power imbalance that other places had ignored before. New prescription feels far more comfortable during reading now.

I am going to start off by saying thank you to the doctor for being so nice and doing my eye exam with such care, Ms. D the girl with the curly hair in the front desk, you were amazing and did everything so nicely on her part. Unfortunately my overall experience aside from the thank yous, I want to express how unprofessional and disappointing this place was, from not listening to me when I spoke up until 3 weeks later (today) that I ended up having to CANCEL my whole order because they wanted to blame me for their mistakes and laziness. They gave me the wrong patient’s prescription walking out the door then blame me and said I grabbed the wrong prescription when THEY CAME AND HANDED ME THE PAPER. They did not process my insurance until the last possible second, cause e a miscommunication and improper use of my benefits which lead to again being FORCED to cancel my glasses order. Now I am back at phase one and CAN’T SEE. I will never return nor suggest this place to anyone, unprofessional, lazy and trying to steal money from people. Highly suggest ANY other optical.
