Lakeland Eye Clinic – South Office

Worst customer service ever! One lady in particular sitting on the right side at the computer. You can always tell which receptionist gets a kick out making life harder for others. After reading the bad reviews, I'm glad I found another clinic that are better equipped to handle my unique situation. I rarely write bad reviews, but that one receptionist was great at grinding my gears. Remember, great reviews start at the front desk and work it's way back.

I had redness and itching in one eye for several days before deciding to visit this center. The doctor identified the issue almost immediately and explained the treatment clearly. Medication helped fast, and the follow-up appointment was handled without any hassle.

I had to wait a week to be seen by an eye doctor that then turned me down to refer me to the surgical specialist that then didnt have an appointment until 4 weeks later. I had blurry vision with light sensitivity and they didn`t even want to help my discomfort and check my eye for corneal damage. He just said my eye surgery went wrong and "sometimes" another surgery can fix it. While another specialist that worked with a eye surgeon said you absolutely can not judge that yet, it takes time for tissue to settle and soften and eitehr way it is a easy case and doesn`t look so bad. Unfriendly staff on the phone as well

Used to be a good local optometrist. Apparently they grew too much in recent years and have now made it all about the money. Not a local Lakeland place anymore, same as the eye places at the mall - profit over care.

Every time I come to this place they are always so rude to me. Specifically the lady that handles the contacts, grey hair and glasses. Im a super nice person and was just asking and inquiring about contacts and the prescription process and how to get contacts, and she was very rude to me. Will not be coming back!
