Best eye exam ever! Office was organized and friendly. Called me in rt at time of when my appt was scheduled which was great and respectful of my time. Thorough, including state of the art machine to look in bk of your eyes without dilation drops- Dr. was wonderful, professional, experienced and explained everything. Rose was my doc and she was the best!
I have been coming to this office for 6 years and have seen many of the doctors here. Every experience is great. For my most recent visit, the front desk was so sweet and helpful—they even got me in earlier than my scheduled time because I was in pain. The communication is always clear, and the staff is wonderful to talk to. I am very happy with the care I receive every time.
Although I truly appreciate the front staff, I'm not very happy with Dr Rose. She chose not to go to bat for me with my insurabce to get approved a better. faster acting eye drop for my dry eye. It made me feel like I wasn't quite important enough to make a phone call and ask for a coverage exception. I was told she wanted to just prescribe what my insurance would pay for. I think it's time for a new eyecare facility and doctor.
I have had multiple bad experiences with EyeCare Consultants. They made glasses for me that when I wore them they made me feel like I had to cross my eyes to focus. When I came back in they basically said that's weird and offered no solutions. Today I experienced rude and unknowledgeable workers. I was told my exam would cost one price then was charged another. When I questioned it both the person at the front desk and the person charging me were quite rude. I also checked and double checked my insurance before I went in and knew I was eligible for both frames and contacts in the same calendar year. They said it was one or the other. I left, called my insurance, and sure enough I was right. If I hadn't stood up for myself this could have cost me a ton of money. This is irresponsible.
I had eye exam from Dr Shimonova; got prescription for glasses and bought glasses from their office. I asked a couple of staff where else I can get the glasses adjusted; they all said I could go to any EyeCare office, but declined to give me addresses or areas where they are. I sent an email yesterday and still have not had reply. So, I called the office and, again, not much help. After a 15+ minute call, Amanda gave me an address on Colo Blvd and said there are no more "in my area". They also failed to give me a copy of the prescription. I will not do business with them ever again. I would rather not even give them 1 star.
