I do not recommend this facility to any parents. My son was a preemie and had multiple exams 1st visit in NICU nothing was wrong, 2nd in NICU they claimed he had ROP, 3rd once out of hospital he magically had no ROP But optic nerve hyperplasia, 4th visit our provider said they wanted to LASER his vision away and do tear duct surgery because of the optic never hyperplasia(which isn’t a thing you do even google can show that). Dr.Reem said and I quote “it would make her job easier” she not only said that to me but my partner as well twice.. because they didn’t want to deal with him moving around more as he aged so her plan was to just remove his peripheral vision…obviously I would never do that and felt she was pushing unnecessary surgery. So I called the pediatrician and got a referral to Childrens hospital where they told me they would agree with SLIGHT optic nerve hyperplasia but no ROP and no tear duct issues. Mind you there has never been an issue nor have we had any concerns abt his ducts. This doctor seems more worried about taking money and “simplicity” of her job over a child’s vision and overall heath. The ophthalmologist at Children’s Hospital, even said that there is never a need for surgery when optic nerve hyperplasia occurs because there is no surgical or medical intervention that can stop the damages already been caused. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. or the practice in my opinion getting ahold of them is hell and when I attempted to cancel my son‘s appointment with them since we found out the truth, I wasn’t able to get through to anyone and try to do it online, which clearly didn’t work. And over a week later, they called me back to say we missed it and try to get it rescheduled. When I let the lady know who called me what it happened with their provider she basically brushed it off and acted like they weren’t trying to push on necessary surgeries.

We have had a great experience with everyone here from the front desk to the doctors. Dr. T and staff were great and very patient with my 3 year old son. We felt like we were in great care!
Always very satisfied with the kind attentive staff. My 3 year old has really enjoyed the process of vision testing and picking out glasses. The doctor is very patient and the rooms are stocked with an array of items (light up wands, animatronic animals, stickers/lollipops) to help children look straight forward and stay still.
We have enjoyed our experience with Dr. Arbuckle who has been seeing our daughter every six months. Dr. Steele performed a surgery on our child’s eye a couple of weeks ago and did an amazing job. All the clinicians are professional, knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable with the whole process.
We have been going to this office for two years and I have not really been impressed. We kept going because it was just easier than switching. After this last visit we will not be returning. They billed our medical insurance for my son’s eye exam. They did not do anything medical. They checked his vision as they have done the last two years. Nothing special at all. They did try to get us to dilate him, they actually didn’t even ask they said “the doctor wants to dilate him today” I told them no because he shouldn’t need to be dilated at 5 years old. We received a bill (which we shouldn’t have) it was a regular eye exam they didn’t do anything requiring medical needs. I submitted an amendment form and they denied it but did not say what was “medical” about his visit. We will not be returning.
