This was my first time at this location. I was greeted as soon as I came in the door , The environment is quiet, and very clean. The office Decor was beautiful. My exam went well, she answered any questions I had and she was very thorough. The staff was super polite and very professional! 10 out of 10, I recommend.

0 stars. The service was awful. The first time I came here, I had a wonderful experience and was treated with respect. However, when I returned to get my prescription, my experience was completely different. The translator was wonderful, but the doctor did not introduce himself, greet me, or communicate with me at all. The staff at the front desk were disrespectful. When I asked to see certain items, they handled the situation poorly and were unhelpful. I also had difficulty getting my prescription, which was very frustrating. I left feeling disrespected and disappointed. Because of this experience, I will not be returning and would not recommend this office to others. No one should have to feel the way I felt that day.
Very stress free appointment. Everyone there was professional and polite and knew exactly what they needed to ask me and what was expected of me. One of the ladies, Betsy, took real good care of me in regards to my new glasses that I was getting. Overall, it was a very simple eye exam. The doctor, her assistant, the folks behind the counter, everyone was great
Very pleasurable experience at EyeCare Center in Smithfield, NC. The front office specialist, Ayana was very kind, patient and professional. She knocked customer service out of the park. She truly made everyone who came in for an appointment that I observed feel welcomed. She was extremely kind and helpful to the elderly. She set the tone for the visit. I then met with Dr. Strickland who was also kind and more importantly thorough. Brendy, who helped me through the process of selecting my glasses and going over coverage was extremely thorough and professional. I was on time for my appointment and did not have a wait. If looking for a new eye care center, I would recommend their office.
Had my annual appt scheduled last year, already pushed out 2 months from January of 2025. Arrived today to be informed that my appt would have to be rescheduled due to no provider in office this week. Had been receiving automated messages from office system with reminders for appt today, including a request to preregister on Sunday. When I arrived I was told that I was called on the 2nd and message was left with need to reschedule. no missed/blocked call from them on the 2nd and no voicemail message. Employee states that their corporate system sends reminders, not local store. Was informed that new provider is coming on board this month but they don't have start date yet, so can't stary booking appointments for that provider yet. VERY POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE. I appreciate how close to my house they are, but already having to wait an additional 2 months beyond what should've been a yearly exam and now being pushed out even further is unacceptable. Sadly, this practice just lost not only my business, but my entire family's business.
