Been using eyedok for my daughter and I the past three years. This year I bring my daughter to her appointment. Everything goes good. I then get home and receive a phone call from eyedok asking if I forgot my yeti tumbler. I replied…. Yes, Thankyou so much. Can I pick it up on Monday I ask. She reminds me that they are closed on Monday. I replied that’s fine. I will pickup on Tuesday when they open. The girl said… okay awesome. I will put a sticky note on it and have it at my desk. I replied Thankyou very much. Well when I go in Tuesday to get my yeti. The girl I spoke with that called me and said she would have my yeti at her desk. She suddenly acted like she never remembered calling me. Along with her attitude. All of a sudden her coworker heard me say white yeti tumbler and I couldn’t help but notice the coworker head flip around real fast. Then she all of a sudden starts chiming in saying that I’m acting like someone stole it. After being mistreated and refused to be able to speak with a supervisor. I was treated like crap. Belittled… I still never got a call from a supervisor. I’m just completely blown away with how that was handled and how it’s okay to treat clients. So how about it’s time for my eye appointment. I don’t say anything about issues 1-2 weeks prior. When I go back for my appointment. The Optometrist I saw was very rude having attitude towards me. Did not do a thorough exam or ask about how contacts have been or anything. I’m absolutely blown away that a place of business treats there clients because they know they pretty much have a monopoly as for as eye doctors in OS. It would really be amazing if I got to speak with a professional employee/supervisor instead of be treated like crap by an employee/employees.

I have a family of 6, and have been using Eyedok for a while now. Unfortunately not a fan for the glasses for myself so use somewhere else to get my glasses. Well, the office staff refused to fax my prescription to the place I use, which is ridiculous. I pay you for my eye appointments and those for my kids, I have been getting my children's glasses here dropping $200/$300 per kid after insurance each time. But because I don't like their selection, use another company for the glasses, they refuse to fax a single document?! Dr. M&M is great but we will no longer use Eyedok. I will drive to Mobile for myself, and the rest of my family will now go elsewhere. Very fast way to lose 6 customers. Congratulations. Hope that office policy works out well for you all.
The Dr was great. Exam was easy and fast. After over 3 weeks waiting they called saying my lenses have arrived and could I come in today for cutting. I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment. Apparently you're not allowed to do that. The person doing the cutting (I never saw her) told the girl at the desks "she was busy with someone else and it will be another 45 minutes before I can get to yours, your appointment is at 2:30" I dont know what has happened to customer service but this place has lost sight of it. I was not expecting her to stop what she was doing to squeeze me in, I was confused as to why she got an attitude for me showing up early. I left with a paper script. No lenses, that I and my insurance paid for. Went home and ordered some better looking ones that will arrive in 3 days.
Best experience, very kind and patient staff. My mother had a serious eye injury and despite not taking walk-ins, they made an exception to help her with her pain. Orthopedist was thorough and kept my mother’s comfort as a top concern. A wonderful experience, definitely coming back. Truly thank you for helping (also fixed my moms glasses!!)
We have used Eye Doc for years! Ordered new lenses and never received a call to let me know they were in. They said that we call and left voicemail and I showed her all my voicemails, not one call! They got to big and customer service/communication is disappointing!
