Eyeglass World

I had an excellent experience at Eyeglass World! The eye exam was very thorough, and I appreciated that the optometrist took the time to address all of my vision needs, including a prescription for working at my computer, nearsightedness, and if I needed reading glasses. After my exam, the front office staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. I was looking for a specific style of frames, and the employees went above and beyond to help me find the perfect pair. They made the entire process easy and enjoyable. One of the biggest advantages of this location is the in-house lab. I was able to get my new glasses the same day, which was a huge convenience. I'm extremely pleased with the outstanding service and love my new glasses. I highly recommend this Eyeglass World location to anyone looking for quality eye care, great customer service, and fast turnaround. Thank you to the entire team!

I recently needed to update my vision prescription and get replacements for my old regular glasses and sunglasses. I looked around at the various options around Johnson City and was shocked at how much some places--including national chains--were charging for eyeglass frames. E.g., to replace the ones I had with the same color and brand would cost $450 apiece at the same chain I had used for my old glasses, and that was just for the frames, not including eye exam and progressive lenses. Eyeglass World advertised frames at a discount, so I thought I would try them, though I was hesitant at first, since I'm older and the last time I had my eyes examined I was unhappy with the prescription (it seemed a little blurry to me). I was really happy with the frame selection, eye examiner, and customer service at Eyeglass World, and when I received the glasses I could tell that I was seeing better than I had with my old prescription. Plus, the cost for 2 pair of glasses was half what I had paid the last time at a national chain (it will go nameless, but begins with an "L"). Very appreciative of the new glasses, and could not recommend Eyeglass World more highly.

What a wonderful eyeglass center! Jason Good, the General Manager, runs an incredibly efficient eyeglass store. He was so helpful with my selection of eyeglasses and assuring the perfect lenses for me. I have never been able to wear transitional lenses, despite several attempts at several different eyeglass stores. He changed all that for me! He helped me find the eyeglass style that would make transitional lenses actually work for me! I never felt rushed or pressured during my visit. The optometrist, Janna Mendenhall, is the best optometrist I have ever been to. She is very thorough, detailed, and attentive in her exam. She is also just a genuinely nice person! I will definitely keep coming to this location! I enthusiastically recommend this Eyeglass World!

I have been extremely happy with my experience at Eyeglass World. From the quality of my lenses to the outstanding customer service, everything has exceeded my expectations. A special thank you to Chad, who helped resolve an issue I was having with professionalism and care. I also want to recognize Renee for the wonderful job she did fitting my glasses. She truly went above and beyond, taking plenty of time to make sure everything fit perfectly and that I was completely happy. I never felt rushed, and her patience, attention to detail, and genuine concern for customer satisfaction were greatly appreciated.

The absolute best eyeglass experience ever!!! Jason the lab manager is super helpful and friendly. He helped me pick out glasses that would fit my face shape and rx. I've never been more confident about my selection. Then he helped me get the best price by looking at my insurance and their specials. I got a great deal on glasses and sunglasses, plus the glasses insurance is more affordable than other places if you want that. To top it off, they have the glasses lab right onsite! You won't be disappointed.
