I did not like my visit today. It's been 2 years since my last eye exam and things have changed. That's understandable. I had a remote eye exam today, my first, so I was not prepared for that experience. The assistant was pleasant and answered my questions and kept the conversation going as we waited for the remote tech and doctor. I get it, technology advances that is, but the wait was a bit much. I got through that. Then the selecting of glasses. Now I am a big fan and believer in customer service. Well when I got to the reception are to begin perusing frames, that's when they dropped the ball. No one said anything, did not offer assistance, nothing. It wasn't until I went to inquire about my paperwork that I was even acknowledged. There were 3 people at desks mind you, and at that time, I was the only customer for a few minutes. Anyhoo, one of the ladies offered assistance after my inquiry. After I selected some frames and was heading back to her, another customer came in. OK, fine but here I am waiting and instead of the other employee offering to assist until her colleague was done...nothing. The 3rd employee, nothing. I understand each has a role, but customer service and satisfaction should be paramount. If I would have had my paperwork in hand, I would have left and went somewhere else to purchase frames. I have had pleasant experiences before at this location, but if I am spending my money and time, each experience should be a pleasurable one. For me, after I get my new glasses, I will not be returning to this location.
