Honestly, I wish I had read the reviews before going here. I went Saturday for my eye exam, the optometrist was one of only 2 people that were professional. The young girl that assisted me was also very sweet and she was still learning so I absolutely understood. The one Caucasian young guy that was supposed to be training her was so rude, quite frankly, I was appalled at the way he kept talking to her as if she was an idiot incapable of learning. My mom and I truly felt for her because I know she was embarrassed and I was as well for her. I stated what I wanted yet that young guy kept adding on additional things and he was lying about what each item cost, that was a red flag. When he walked away, I told the young lady that I didn’t want all of that and she already knew because I had told her I didn’t want anything extra and when she tried to tell him that I told her what I wanted or didn’t want, he cut her off and spoke over her! He then appeared to have an attitude because I took off the items I already had said I didn’t want. Fast forward to today, I arrive to pick up my glasses, it was busy but it’s spring break. I entered the building, there was no greeting or any acknowledgment that I even walked in the door. This is my first time picking up glasses from this establishment so I was not sure what to do and there was nowhere to sit. Another woman and her child walk in and cut in front of me, I let them know I was waiting, (she was a real peach with her horrible attitude) it wasn’t until that point that I was acknowledged. Eventually, a lady comes over to ask me for my info to get my glasses. At this point, the young boy from Saturday gets up and leaves the people he was working with to go assist the lady behind me who happened to be Caucasian and he gives me this smug look in the process. By this point I was so upset and uncomfortable, I didn’t want me glasses adjusted or anything, I just wanted to leave. I will not ever return and my mom, who was scheduled to come in for her appointment has decided to cancel and go somewhere else. This location is so unprofessional. First impressions matter and this location failed tremendously. Honestly, 1 star is even too much. I also feel I was ripped off. I have VSP and per my VSP app, I had $130 towards the cost of my frames and when I mentioned to the young boy that it didn’t sound right that my VSP was only offering $70, I was dismissed. So I will be contacting VSP and if they confirm that it was indeed $130 and not $7, I will be taking this as high as I need to.

I love my eyewear! I'm so very happy that I found Ms.B. She has truly helped me with my vision. They have a big variety of frames to choose from. I had some cool sunglasses that I could no longer wear because I have to have bifocal lenses, well Ms.B helped me with that as well. Now I can wear my Ray Bans!!
The price is not what they advertised I paid 185 for 2 pairs of the supposed deal of 109 is that because of insurance and then the two pairs is one to see far and one to see close so I literally have to have both pairs on because the one to see far I cannot see close and vice versa telling me I need bifocals for a -50 prescription okay!!!!! And that I would be 140-280 more on top of already paying 185 do yourself a favor and go to America’s Best I should have went there smh
I just wanna thank the entire staff of Eyeglass World at the River City Marketplace location; I came in with a fiasco of a situation and they were able to help me sort it out very expeditiously. I am very appreciative and grateful for their patience and service!
Hi all! Just wanted to say a quick little check in before anything happens. There was a very rude woman and I Just wanted to check in before any negative comments from her. But she was extremely rude. Very impatient and pushy. I heard that she slammed her purse down. That was crazy to me. Blew my mind to hear. So I just wanted to say, I love my glasses and I got them in June. They’ve been great and I got two pairs of them. One pair broke, due to a seizure of mine. But they are such sweet employees there!!!
