I will never come here again. We had to keep going since we already used our insurance and had to finish the process. It’s ran so poorly. After the pre-test room you wait way past your appointment time because, for one they overbook for their abilities to effectively get people in on time, and two and even worse there isn’t an onsite optometrist (the reason for the slow service). Once you get in the room you have to wait until an optometrist virtually accepts your request and it feels so impersonal and affects the quality of service. My follow up appointment the doctor accepted then after 10 minutes of trying to respond the doctor rejected it and we had to wait for a new doctor. My first appointment they gave me the wrong prescription!!!! I had to wear those contacts that were too high in prescription for a week before I could go back and it was awful. The glasses were also not done right. They also make you come in for a follow up before you can order your contacts which is more time and absolutely ridiculous (I’ve never had to do that at multiple other eyes places). On top of that, the place is dirty. The carpet looks like it always needs vacuumed, countertops are always dirty and dusty, not to mention the machine used to test my eyes for the prescription was dirty which made it hard to accurately see to get the right one. So glad after my husbands follow up that we never have to come here again.

What a great experience! Kayla made setting our appointment and completing our purchase super smooth! She has such a great personality and made sure we got exactly what we needed! The patience of Isabel and Faith made our wait time go by so fast and explained as well as reassured us that our appointment was going to be done professionally. It was our first time experience a remote eye exam and I still felt like the doctor was in the room by how they explained to me what was happening. I truly appreciate the team here and the office was clean as well! I look forward to picking up our glasses!
is it unreasonable to be shopping and expect staff to come see if you need assistance? A hello welcome in? An are you finding everything okay? Because i was ignored for 2 hours.. I was looking to get two new frames and had brought my mom in to get new frames for herself. We were there for nearly 2 hours and the group of staff members sat around the desks laughing and talking and never acknowledged us nor the couple that came in after us. We were never greeted, we werent approached and I finally got frustrated by the lack of customer service or just human decency; and decided to leave. I can spend my money at a different business if the staff can't acknowledge our presence nor us leaving. Its very sad, this used to be a business that had amazing customer service and kindness.
I've had a lot of bad luck, which includes a heart attack & the loss of being able to work again. On Medicare its pretty well known the coverage is not favorable, especially on a limited income. I stepped on my glasses & destroyed them. I had an old pair, but I couldn't see well. I had no choice but to try & get a new pair. I recently moved to Amarillo to stay with family, so I did a Google search to find a good place to go. Eyeglass World popped up with awesome reviews. I called & Lupe invited me to come right away. Lupe helped me find the right frames to support my Rx (the frames looked awesome). Trust me, Lupe knows what she's doing (other reviewers feel the same). I sat down with Kristina to get the prices. I fumbled with maxed out credit cards trying to figure out how I was going to pay. Ryan & Kristina recognized I had a big problem. Together they arranged for company sponsored hardship assistance. My jaw dropped. They made my glasses for free. I thank God 1st always, but without Lupe, Kristina, & Ryan this blessing would not have been possible. I remain grateful about what they did for me. My new glasses are perfect.
I broke my glasses, and my optometrist is closed today, so I went here to see if they could fix them. Turns out the frame couldn’t be fixed, so they found a frame that fit my lenses and replaced them for free, despite me having not bought my glasses there. The two guys at the front desk were incredibly sweet, I’m so grateful for them, and grateful to have fully intact glasses ❤️
