I was quite disappointed with a recent experience I had at their optometry department. I went to purchase a supply of contacts using my wife's FSA card, as she is the primary insurance holder. Brenda would not allow me to use my wife's card, despite the fact that I've used it for multiple things, including medical, dental and optometry (I had used this card previously at this location, multiple times without any issues). She then told me the following: "this is not allowed. can your wife be present to make the purchase?" In what world does it make sense for your spouse (who is the primary insurance holder) to be present at every single medical visit? Even looking at the laws online, a spouse using their spouses FSA card is totally acceptable. In any case, you may run into some issues here such as this. Plenty of options to choose from in the area. Or, request someone else who knows what they're talking about.

Surprised by all the negative reviews. We (myself, my wife, and our two kids) have been getting our glasses here for a few years now--never had an issue or experienced poor customer service. We only get our frames and lenses here, so I cannot comment on the optometrist(s). They are usually quite busy, and I suspect some of the negative reviews are from folks who want immediate service. If you prepare to wait a bit and respect that the staff here are extremely busy, I think you'll find it's worth it for the money you will save.
I went in for an eye exam. She claimed that my prescription had changed. Like an idiot I trusted her and I took my daughter in a couple of days later. She told her the same thing but she failed to mention that to me. I ordered glasses and she ordered contacts. Shortly after my daughter told me she said that the Dr. told her the same thing regarding her eye sight. It is impossible that we both had a miraculous improvement in our vision We are now stuck with these crappy prescriptions, glasses, and contacts. This lady doesn’t know what she is doing. Do not go. We have waited 2 months for my eyes to “adjust” like she claimed Please, save yourself the headache, literally Costco do yourself the favor and replace her If I could give her 0 ⭐️ I would
Went for the first time and everything was great. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The doctor was very thorough and quick. The two young ladies working in the glasses department were very helpful and kept bringing me glasses until I found a pair I liked. I got my prescription glasses and sunglasses for the amount I would usually pay for just a new pair of glasses. Waiting on my trial contacts, hopefully everything goes as smoothly there also.
The customer service here is terrible . They are rude and do not like to answer questions. My impression is that they think the customers need them more than they need customers. When dealing with insurance change, they did not even bother looking at the insurance card before saying we can't help you with it. Hey, I'm not the one who deals with the insurance all the time so I don't know the ins and outs of it. God forbid you deign to give any advice on it. In the past, we got quality friendly care from them. The receptionist displayed an attitude of wanting us to leave and find someplace else to go instead of making her do any work. I got a similar impression from the doctor herself. We will be looking at the long list of places on the insurance site other than this location. People have choices, and you need to work harder if you care to keep customers. Edited to add: No, I did not want to be seen right away. I had an appointment scheduled well in advance. I was angry because I was dismissed when I asked pertinent straight forward questions. Like I said, we have had good experiences in the past for years. The quality has deteriorated with different doctor/receptionist combo. We have found locally owned businesses who care about their customers to replace this establishment. I would recommend people go elsewhere with their hard earned $$$
