Dr. Hendrix has been my optometrist for years, and I’m one of many patients who followed her practice from Walmart Vision Center to Destin Eyemart without hesitation. Dr. Hendrix is truly one in a million. She takes her time, explains everything thoroughly, and ensures you feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely heard during every visit. Her approach is both professional and personal — a rare balance. In a field where turnover is common, it’s incredibly reassuring to see that her team remains steady.

Amazing folks! Where you get your vision screening in the same building you get your glasses. I got the two pairs for 40 they are absolutely adorable. I lost my glasses in the ocean I had new ones within 45 minutes. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay I got out of there with two pairs of amazing glasses and eye exam for $190!!!!!

This place saved our vacation! My son lost his glasses in the ocean and was seen the next morning as a walk-in. They had him examined, fitted and had glasses on his face in an hr. I was shocked. They have a great selection that aren’t too expensive and the staff was super nice. It was a little more expensive than my normal place but I got glasses that same day AND it took an hr for the whole thing. I’ll pay extra for all of that. Great place to go.

Ok started out feeling like a complete dumb… First time at the beach and yeah you guessed it glasses lost and wave took them away. We called and first thing they were so kind and said yeah no worries come on down we will get you taken care of. Took us about 15 minutes to get There entire staff was so kind . Optometrist saw me right away . Took just a little over an hour start to new glasses fitted and good to go. Thing of it is my wife picked kit Two pairs she likes and they fit way better than the old pair. So highly recommend them , when we come back next year I will go back to see them

I love these guys! Huge selections and better prices than even most online stores. I walked in, received great customer service and help picking a couple of frames. Left and within one hour, my new glasses and sunglasses were ready. Both pairs together were far less than my last single pair from another retailer. Highly recommend
