Nice friendly people but super slow on getting my pair of glasses. 6 weeks so far to this date. I get a pair every year so I’m due in getting another pair in 9 1/2 months. I’ve been going to Dr. Leibowitz for 23 years and now with this new ownership, they lag so much on a simple order that used to take 10 days. Next years, I’ll be going to new optometrist

At UCD I was given an contact lens trial preparatory to decisions on cataract surgery. Unfortunately when I got home to Woodland I had difficulty removing the lens. Dr. Choi saw me as a walk-in in Woodland and was extremely helpful. He easily removed the lens and checked for abrasions. He saved me a trip to UCD with an very irritated eye. The staff were very accommodating.
I paid an extra $100 for the highest grade lense material (Hi Index) because the frames I purchased were very minimal but it did nothing to make my lenses thinner. It's an absolute waste of money and they will not provide any remedy besides making you buy a new pair.
Really great experience! I really liked Dr. Leonard. She was knowledgeable and kind. I normally get anxiety at eye exams b/c most places ask way too many invasive medical questions, but I felt Eyes of Woodland were the appropriate level of inquisitive. I also really liked the women who helped me find frames. Overall, I am very pleased and am happy to have a new place for eye care!
The doctors are all very good, especially Dr. Brown and Dr. Leonard. Customer Service is pretty non existent and brings the star rating way down. What happened to professional dress? The office staff dress like they are about to mow a lawn, wash a car, or do some house painting. The selection of frames is not very good at all. I recommend going to Davis Kaiser to find a frame. You don’t have to be a member to just browse their frames. If you find one you like, take down the manufacturer information and/or take a photo and Eyes of Woodland can order it for you.
