Great doctor but ruined by a very uncomfortable front office experience. Received a phone call and text message the night before my visit about additional charges for a photo of my eyes. I declined over the phone, only to have multiple sales people push me to accept the service when I arrived in person the next day. I had to decline verbally multiple times and by the time the doctor was ready to see me, I really just wanted to leave. I almost would have just paid them to leave me alone at that point, yuck.

I brought my sunglasses to have the lenses fitted into the frames, and they immediately handed me a payment terminal. I've been charged for a service that hadn't even been performed yet. Half an hour later I returned, picked up the glasses, and left without checking them. When I later put the glasses on in the car, I saw that the lens was inserted unevenly, so I had to go back. How unprofessional do you have to be to not even check if the lens is inserted correctly? It seems that besides quickly taking money from a credit card, these people don't know how to do anything else. I do not recommend them!

I have my eyes examined and purchase my lenses at Eyestyles and I love it! Dr. Thorslund has taken good care of me when I needed emergency eye care and takes good care of my husband in minimizing diabetic damage to his eyes. He is wonderful about giving us plenty of time and explaining everything in detail to us. I highly recommend.

Dr Thorsland and his staff went over the top helping me to figure out why my prescription was not correct from another provider. He truly is knowledgeable about eye care and how fill a prescription so that it benefits the patient vision as well as limiting eye strain. He does not solely depend on a computer to tell if your prescription is right. He uses many eye magnification tools to dial in the prescription, as well as his in-depth knowledge and training to help resolve your needs whether it’s headaches, stigmatism, cataracts, etc. Thank you!

Went in for an eye exam and all the staff members were friendly and understanding. My eye exam was on schedule, exceeded my expectations and was educational. Dr Thorsland was attentive, very easy to talk to and treated me like we already knew each other. He gave me lots of information of what my issues are and what he recommended. The associate showed me options of glasses and took my needs and budget into consideration. Wasn’t trying to sell me in expensive frames, they asked me if I had any styles it colors in mind and gave their recommendations as well. Would 10/10 recommend them to everyone.
