I had a wonderful experience at this eye care facility. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and very professional. The doctor took her time to thoroughly explain everything and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. The office was clean, organized, and ran efficiently with very little wait time. I truly felt like they cared about both my eye health and overall experience. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality eye care and exceptional customer service.

I went in with my family, and we were all four of us together. I was a little worried it might be too much, but they handled it so well. We were welcomed when we arrived and told to have a great day when we left. They were very friendly and respectful. Dr. Krohn was amazing with my family, and he was so empathetic and personalized with each of us. I’m definitely coming back every year. Place was very clean and organized.
I called Family Eyecare for a 2nd opinion with a case of extreme dry eyes due to an allergic reaction. As I was looking elsewhere at the possibility of intense light therapy. A treatment that would take up to 10 weeks to get my eyes back to my normal with no offer of any immediate relief. Jumping right into expensive treatment that would continue once annually for the rest of my life. I had been experiencing blurry vision to the point that I would have to lean in sometimes and almost touch the computer monitors with my nose. A constant struggle to make out what I was looking at. The later in the day, the worse it got. The eye strain. Onset of headaches. Lightheadedness. 9-hour workdays on a computer were an absolute nightmare. For a while I used two broke down boxes on top of both monitors and leaned an additional box on the one side to block the fluorescent lights from hitting my screens as best I could. I wore a ball cap and went as far as folding a napkin over the temple arm of my glasses to block the light from my eyes. I'm sure it was a sight. But you do what you have to. I had occasional burning. Once, the fluorescent lights were so bad that the only way I can explain it was like someone holding lit matches underneath my eyes. They burned that bad. I spent a 40-minute car ride home 1 day with a towel held over my eyes as I couldn't stand the brightness outside even in a car with dark sunglasses on. Prior to even being a patient, they were very concerned about the extreme sensitivity to light that I was experiencing and wanted to see me right away as in 15 minutes right away. To date I have dealt with 6 people there. People running the front desk, the pre-tester, Dr. Kristie and an optician. All of whom have been very friendly and helpful. After 2 visits in 11 days my eyes except for what I would call regular dryness that I tend to experience anyways was back to normal. I had a 3rd visit which was a full-on exam. Dr. said we can get my vision back to 20/20. I purchased a new pair of eyeglasses which will be here in a couple of weeks. At that same appointment the dr. mentioned switching over from monthly to daily contacts as they would be so much better for my dry eyes. I mentioned to her that I looked into doing the daily's but decided against it due to the high cost associated with them. She offered a different lens then what I normally wear. One that will be different for each eye and more friendly on the pocketbook. I received a trial of those very contacts on that same visit! I go back in a week for a contact lens visit to see how my trial went and whether we want to go with those or back to what I had been wearing. I will also add this: It's more than just a simple eye check and fulfilling your prescription. They check everything. I would highly recommend them!
Absolutely love this place! Everyone was so kind and helpful. I’ve only had the one visit, but feel like they’re all happy to have me there. Definitely glad I was referred to them after my former doctor retired.
Dr. Krohn is very professional. He is also friendly and listens to your questions and concerns. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Amanda has helped me with several questions regarding ordering and scheduling my contacts and was very patient in answering my inquiries regarding my moving to another State.
