Super annoyed so cross posting from my Yelp review. I’m honestly really disappointed with my experience here. One of the most frustrating parts is that there’s no clear way to contact the office besides calling the front desk—no email or direct way to address concerns. About a month ago, I called ahead specifically to ask if they could put prescription lenses into my Meta glasses. I was told yes, but that I’d need to schedule an eye exam first. I waited a full month for that appointment, came in today, went through the entire exam process, and only at the very end was I told they could not put lenses in my frames because I didn’t purchase them there. This was especially confusing because I’ve brought in my own frames before and had lenses put in without any issue. I was then told they would be able to help if I had purchased Meta glasses directly through them, which felt inconsistent and frustrating. I did everything right on my end—I called ahead, asked questions, confirmed pricing, and came prepared. In the end, I used my yearly insurance benefit on an appointment that didn’t meet my needs and walked out with nothing. It felt like a complete waste of time. Because of this experience, we’ll be finding a new eye care provider. The lack of clear communication and consistency just doesn’t work for me.

My experience with the Dr. Who team for scleral lenses was truly amazing and life-changing. I’m beyond Grateful! And thankful he truly cared if I could see… 👉🏽⚠️However, I had a negative encounter with a staff member—the blonde receptionist at the front desk who wore glasses. Unfortunately, she was not kind and exhibited poor people skills. She refused to assist me and had me wait Several months more than 6 -8 months for an appointment. In person & at follow-up… Very unprofessional. I believe that this kind of customer service is Problematic to see people act the way she did …it kept me from seeing. I was overwhelmed with scheduling. It took 6 months to make an appointment, and she made it worse purposely. I have very low vision and need to care for a loved one…she may need to not work with people if you can’t be kind or Decent you never know what people are going through. It was Absolutely horrible Scheduling.. I was a DSB Client they sent everything needed Which I appreciated. I definitely felt otherd . I Had an experience so bad with Receptionist..I will save up and never go to a vendor again. It’s been a tough year, but this wasn’t right.
Dr. Williams was friendly and thorough during my exam, which I appreciated. However, I had an issue with my prescription, and when I returned to the office to address it, the receptionist refused to schedule a follow-up appointment. She said: "Our policy is if you have issues with your glasses, you need to deal with the business who made them." This response was dismissive and unhelpful, especially when all I needed was clarification on the prescription itself. The lack of support from the front desk was incredibly frustrating and left a very negative impression. Obviously, I'll look elsewhere for my eye care.
Doctor, nice and helpful. Front desk? A pain every single time we ever spoke to them. Attitude on attitude. Then they sell me contacts and call me the next day asking for an additional $20. Sloppy, poor customer service, doctor is great.
after eye exam I ordered new glasses picked up the glasses and the right eye works good the left eye is still blurry with new glasses wont be going back ever again went back and the doctor adjusted my prescription had to order new lenses over a month later no replacement lenses had to call insurance to deal with this final outcome per insurance return my glasses and go somewhere else to get my glasses won't be going back to this place
