The jacksonville oak street location is by far the best. When I first visited after my retina detachment I was scared and nervous but after meeting Dr. Jeroudhi I felt a bit at ease. He is so awesome and he did amazing on my surgery. The environment is always welcoming and they stay FULLY staffed so there's always someone to speak with. I love how they have pamphlets and cards to get to know all their ophthalmologists , very professional. There was a young lady working up front with blonde hair on 04.06.2026 checking me in and out, she was so kind and gave such great customer service. I felt appreciated . Five stars across the board

I have a once-a-month appointment at Florida Retina Institute, and every time that I've visited, I've received the same care and experience. To be absolutely honest, it's really a little bit short of phenomenal. They're really nice people from the front office to the back—just outstanding with people and care. And when you think your experience can't get any better, then comes Dr. Alkaliby, and you're blown away. The facility is first-in-class at service.
Poor customer service!! My 91 year old Dad had an appointment but they turned us away and wanted to reschedule in 2 weeks!! Took us 2 hours to drive, had to arrange care for my Mom on hospice while I took my Dad to this appointment. When being scheduled ( new eye stroke with clot and loss of vision) It was treated as urgent so we are scheduled as such. However!!! We were cancelled bc Dr did not feel well!! Ok well there are other Dr’s at this practice but no they wanted to scheduled my Dad a visit on a Saturday two weeks out! Very poor and dangerous practice for the care of your eyes!! Do not recommend! Go to a place that has knowledgeable secretary’s and most importantly a competent practice manager as he came out but said nothing but then sent one of the clerks outside to ask us to schedule my Dad two weeks out on a Saturday! DANGEROUS Practice at this location! BE AWARE! This was 5/20/26!!!
Awesome 👌 I love ❤️ the service! Check in & out is flawless. My handsome Dr. Kyle, is extremely talented and very good at his OCCUPATION! Trina, Melissa, Brianna & Max plus the others make the office visit pleasant 😀! The facility is very clean! May GOD continue 🙏 BLESSING The Florida Retina Institute... Shout out & thanks to Dr. Staman, son & Dr. Moreno (they saw me during an emergency visit), PRICELESS!
I'm extremely upset with this practice. We started here in October of 2025 as a 2nd opinion for my mother (age 87) who had a detached retina and went blind in one eye. After she moved from MD in January, I took her in May of 2026. Her vision in her "good" eye was 20/25. She was on a bunch of different drops. He discontinued them all except one: prednisolone. It was not only prescribed, but given a refill with a follow up 3 months later. Well here we are and her vision is 20/50 and the doctor we saw today (it's a group so just a merry go round) asked my mom what she did to her eye to make it go bad. 1) Why would you ask someone that and 2) my mom has dementia so that completely stressed her out. and 3) it was the doctor in THEIR group who obviously prescribed the wrong drops. My husband was the one who took her so I called, very upset because upon a very easy search prolonged use of prednisolone can cause permanent damage and her sight may not get better and she only has one eye. I was put on a long hold and told someone would call me back. It's now 5:26pm so I guess she wasn't that important to them. Do NOT go to this practice if you want to be treated correctly. The sad thing was I stressed to the doctor when I was there in May that is was very important to keep the good eye good, so she doesn't go completely blind. I trusted the doctor because I don't have eye issues so I didn't think to double check a prescription that had been given. I'm so upset and if my mom goes blind it's on this practice.
