Dr. Cunningham has never been anything but helpful, kind, and courteous. He takes the time to chat and discuss options. I've been seeing him for over 3 years now. His office is pleasant, and my wait time is usually very manageable.
I have had vision issues all my life & when I developed scar tissue on both of my retina's, I was fortunate enough to meet Dr Matthew Cunningham. He kept me under his watch for several years, until I was ready to do surgery. He did my weakest eye first & a year later did my other eye. I can see better now than I have in many years. I am so grateful to him & the Florida Retina Institute for the exceptional care I received. Icing on the cake, Dr Cunning has the best bed side manner of any physician I have ever seen. Thank you for the bottom of my heart! I am forever grateful!
Employees are very kind. They are smiling and helpful. Parking lot had a space for our car. Dr Cunningham looks at me and shakes my hand. He treats patients (me) like we matter. He helped save my vision.

I have been going to the Florida Retina Institute for several years now. I am so glad I was referred to them! Their staff is friendly, patient, and welcoming. And my doctor, Dr. Mav, who is so knowledgeable and caring, makes me as comfortable as possible before each shot. His tech team always remembers my request for extra numbing, which makes the procedure so much more comfortable. I highly recommend this practice to anyone with retina issues or concerns.
