Forsight Vision is the best. I found them originally because my optometrist moved out of town, so I needed a new one. So I checked the Google reviews of clinics around me and Forsight had a 5.0 with over 400 reviews! Do you know how hard it is to get and maintain a rating like that?!?
Anyhow, they have more than lived up to the reviews. Because of the testing that Forsight does, Dr Todd Cohan found fluid in the back of my eye and referred me to a retinal specialist, who determined I was in the very early stages of wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD). They started me on a treatment plan that stopped the progression of the AMD before it effected my eyesight. If it had not been for Dr Cohan and Forsight, I would have without question lost some of my sight before finding out I had AMD.
In addition, Dr Cohan found that the oil-producing glands in my eyes were shutting down. This meant that eventually I would no longer be able to wear contacts because my eyes would be too dry. He went through a treatment plan that stopped and even reversed some of the damage! I just had my one-year follow-up and we could see it on the test photos that they do there.
Ok, so that's 2 home runs so far and we're still in the early stages of the game! I'm really looking forward to what the rest of the game will bring. I'm sure they will deliver more of the same!
Now, last, but certainly not least--everyone there is spot on with the work that they do. They are courteous and helpful and prompt. They know what they are doing and they do it well. They get you in, take care of you, and send you on your merry way. I love going there.
Oh, and Dr Cohan is great, too. Not only is he highly skilled, but he's very down-to-earth and personable. And if he didn't have more patients to take care of, we'd probably still be talking! Of course, that's probably more my fault than his. LOL
