I have been coming here for a few years now. My son wears glasses, he has an high prescription and he is a busy kid so I have to replace his glasses about every 4 months to 6 months and he gets a routine eye check every 6 months. So I have spent a lot of money here I would consider myself a loyal customer. I also have 2 other children who receive services here as well. I just spent over 500$ 3 weeks ago for my son’s new glasses. I went in to get myself an exam, days after my sons. I was picking out some new glasses for myself, meanwhile conversing I kindly asked if they could adjust my glasses I already had because they fall off. They are in perfect condition because I never wore them. For the reason they fall off. I asked if they could bend them a little bit which the girl I was talking to said yes they could. “never mentioned that they were not responsible if they break” I didn’t even think of this. if they had told me that I swear I would have said no because I certainly would have taken them to where I purchased them from. (Which was eye max off towneast) They bend my son’s glasses every time and never had a break. So I trusted them. My glasses are real Gucci, paid 900$ for them. In my opinion they should had told me no. Anyway I’m leaving this review because the way they treated me after they broke them is what I will never understand. Not once have they called me to see how they can replace my glasses that they broke. Just handed me a card to a “fix it place “ My husband reached out and was in contact with the manager which she said the model is no longer available and basically I would need to pay some money for the replacement frame. After all the money I have spent here over the years and they can NOT even replace my frame at their cost. My husband is business owner and he would never let a customer go through something like this. I was calm and respectful and collective. Did not say anything just because I was in shock mostly. After she handed the card I just said well I guess we will keep in contact, she said she would mention it to the manager. My husband had to call for me he was also very respectful calm and collective. They lost my respect for such a disappointing situation. I will no longer support a business that thrives off this. Now I will find a new place and I have also learned from this.
