This place is an absolute joke. The employees except for a few customer service counter employees and the greeters are all miserable. Never friendly, always in bad moods, and not to mention their dress code. I feel like I am at a circus. Between all the hair coloring (pink, blue, red, you name it) and the unkept hygiene it is embarrassing. WHO IS HIRING THESE PEOPLE??? The cashiers are extremely slow and are more interested in counting the bags to charge you 10 cents rather than packing your groceries correctly. Even when the lines are packed they have some type of cashier supervisor instructing people to go to self check rather than jumping on a register herself and helping out. I mean come on. The deli counter is also a unique experience. Extremely slow and they make you feel like you are putting them out by having to slice deli meat. Well here is a tip. If you didn't cut the meat in the pre sliced area so thick maybe more people would buy it. We tried that route and the meat was so thick it felt like eating a small steak. Absolutely disgusting. The produce especially the berries continuously have mold so be careful. Not sure why they keep switching the celery. The batches now are full of dirt and bugs. I truly wished anything but Walmart came to Woodstock ie. Target, Meijer etc. I dread coming here.

Extremely Friendly checkout with scan and go. Efficiently plowed. Cart employee's were on point. Impressively clean inside.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Zaynab. What a beautiful soul! Zaynab gave the best customer service I have ever experienced at the Woodstock Walmart. What a gem, you’re lucky to have her! Honestly, after my last interaction with an employee (that landed me in the hospital for a week 🤦🏻‍♀️😑) and Sarah the manager who I can say truly does not care about the customers. The 5 stars are my shopping experience today alone. Or I’d give them nada 👎🏻 #dobetterwalmart

Checking receipts for items that aren’t bagged is a stupid policy that is subjective and allows room for discrimination. (How am I going to bag a tower fan? What is the point of self checkout? Save time or to increase profit margins? I felt the felt the self register employee staring at me during my whole self checkout process but didn’t bother telling his coworker? ) I didn’t deploy to come back home as a combat vet and have my receipt requested because I’m brown && this is the only Walmart that checks receipts- Huntley/ Lake Geneva never do!
