Costco is less of a shopping experience and more of a survival challenge. Enter at your own risk. If you don’t have a cart, people WILL attempt to run you over. If you do have a cart, they may still attempt to run you over—just with a larger vehicle. Inside, it’s bumper cars with 200-pound shopping carts, abandoned carts blocking entire aisles, and people making sudden U-turns because they spotted a free sample two aisles back. Then you survive checkout and think you’re safe. You’re not. The parking lot is the final boss. Cars backing up without looking. Carts coming from every direction. Pedestrians wandering into traffic clutching rotisserie chickens. Everyone operating under their own completely separate interpretation of traffic laws. Five stars for prices and bulk snacks. One star for personal safety. I went in to pick up a prescription I had already paid for online and somehow left with $100 worth of snacks, emotional trauma, and a renewed appreciation for being alive.

I love this Costco location! I just had my hearing checked, and the technician was very thorough and pleasant to deal with. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. Once a female staff person helped me hunt for bleach for an extended period of time, and asked people on my behalf, and really stuck with the task instead of ditching me or pushing me off onto someone else....and then went to get a rolling cart for me when I wanted to buy a grill but didn't have a big cart with me. She really went above and beyond! Shelves are always well-stocked (but I think that's true of every Costco I've been to). I'd appreciate a more rolling selection of alcohol---I travel often and go to different Costcos and appreciate their variety. I'd also appreciate more local-type products and more ethnic products. For example, the Costco on Maui has a lot of Hawaiian food and the Costco in/near San Jose has a lot of Asian and Indian foods. Don't forget to fill your tank! Costco gas is as high quality as name-brand gas and generally very well-priced. I appreciate the big parking lot (after living in Southern California for 20 years and suffering through tiny Costco parking lots) and friendly service. I've had staff members offer to help me load my car and return my cart more times than I can count.

In recent experiences with customer service, it has become increasingly evident that the quality of assistance provided is often subpar. A particular incident involved three individuals seeking help regarding a specific issue, only to be met with the response, "not my department." This lack of accountability and willingness to assist is indicative of a systemic problem within the organization. Customers expect a seamless experience, and when representatives fail to address inquiries, it not only frustrates the individual but also diminishes the overall reputation of the company. The implications of inadequate customer service are significant. When customers are repeatedly redirected without resolution, they are likely to seek alternatives, as evidenced by the mention of turning to Amazon for assistance. This shift not only reflects a loss of business but also highlights the competitive nature of the market, where consumers have numerous options at their disposal. Companies must recognize that effective customer service is a critical component of their operational strategy, as it directly influences customer loyalty and retention. To rectify these issues, organizations must implement comprehensive training programs for their customer service representatives. Employees should be empowered to assist customers beyond their immediate responsibilities, fostering a culture of collaboration and problem-solving. Additionally, establishing clear protocols for escalating issues can ensure that customers receive timely and effective resolutions. By prioritizing customer service, businesses can enhance their reputation and maintain a loyal customer base, ultimately leading to increased profitability and success.

We have been to at least 10 different Costco locations and when we walked in this door, we were impressed at how clean it felt. All Costco‘s are clean, but this one stands out. Also bought a caramel churro sundae. I wish I had the name of the lady who made it because she did it perfectly! I highly recommend these. $2.99

Customer service is so bright and chipper even for a momma who needs a new card right before close! I think her name was Monica? She's so awesome and friendly. Thanks for hiring awesome people. She made my day!
