Excellent experience at Grand Central Optical! I’ve had two set of frames done here seperate times and it’s always amazing. The lovely Marina helped me with my second pair - she was friendly, professional, and very helpful in choosing my new glasses. The whole process was smooth, and I love my new frames. I get so many compliments every time I wear my new auburn Chanel glasses!! 😍 Highly recommend!

I recently came to GCO with my daughter for our annual eye exams and to take a look at some new glasses. We were helped by Marina who was wonderful throughout the entire process. As soon as we came in, our paperwork was ready to go and one of us was in the doctor's office immediately. As one of us was seeing the doctor, the other was able to look at glasses. Marina was so knowledgeable about the various glasses in the store and was quickly able to find something we liked. This wasn't easy as we're both very picky! She was not only patient, but had a knack for saying exactly why something looked good or didn't. We were in the store for probably only an hour, but in that time we both had thorough eye exams and chose some beautiful new glasses. I’ve been coming here for my contacts for years and always have great experiences. The staff is really helpful, doctor is good, and appointments are quick. Today I needed to schedule an appointment last minute due to a problem with my contacts. Even though they were fully booked, they fit me in and made the whole experience quick and easy. Highly recommend especially if you commute through grand central.

Love this mom and pop shop conveniently located in Grand Central. Been coming here the last few years since moving to NYC - you know how it is, looking for a new optometrist is daunting but no need to fret - this place is 10/10. They provide services, have an array of frames to select from and can get your contact lenses in a jif. Easy to make appointments. Marina is super attentive - she’s the best, makes every visit smooth. Also great spot to drop off old frames for donation.
