Excellent experience from start to finish. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and very good at their jobs. The staff that prepped me for the optometrist did a great job. The optometrist made sure I understood everything during the exam and answered all my questions. The staff that helped me pick out my frames and fitted me made me feel comfortable and helped me pick out a pair that best suited me. Glasses were delivered when promised. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for vision care.

Dr. Holly and her team are always kind and caring to ensure my needs are met. I drive ~40 minutes to get to Monroe, so that alone is testimony I prefer Great Lakes over nearby options. I'm from the original Donahue Optical era and I think Dan would be happy with how they have continued his legacy and improved eye care with all the technical and medical advancements. She explains the images and recommends additional testing only if necessary. Dr. Holly is wonderful. I highly recommend her for your annual eye exam. I will continue to go to her.
I have 4 members of my household that used this practice. Out of the 4 members 2 had billing issues. I had 3 members of my household get glasses that came in incorrectly. Resulting in a delay receiving them. Took 3 weeks for my daughter's to arrive. Took 4 weeks for them to get my correct lens. It is my opinion that their billing is deceptive an that their glasses are over priced an they under delivering on providing a timely service for the glasses. Where compettitors have glasses arrive in a week not exceeding two weeks. I recieved a bill for one of my kids where they charged me over a hundred bucks for an eye appointment. Where they classified it as medical an did not bill my vision insurance. Worst of all they failed to even mention that his appontment classified as a medical appointment or that there might be a difference in the charges occurred.
Always a stress free appointment! Everyone is pleasant and helpful and Dr. Rogaliner does a great job of explaining the changes in my eyes as I age, showing me comparisons to previous years. I am confident entrusting Great Lakes Vision Care with my eye health and vision.
I was pleased with everything. The staff was very friendly and eager to answer all questions I had. The exam was more thorough than any previous exam I ever experienced. I'm glad I chose Great Lakes Vision Care and I'm staying with them going forward! ⏩
