I went to see one of their ophthalmologists, and after the consultation, I was told I needed a YAG laser procedure. I trusted they knew what they were doing. Turns out, that wasn’t the case. I sought a second opinion from an ophthalmologist in Virginia. After examining my eye, he asked what procedure had been done. I explained what the first office told me, and his response was, “I don’t see any evidence of that.” Still unsure, I went for a third opinion in Laurel, Maryland. That doctor said the same thing, he saw nothing that the first office claimed they had treated. I had the procedure done there, and this time I experienced exactly what the first office had described should happen. The lesson? Never be afraid to get a second or even a third opinion. Not every medical opinion is the right one, and sometimes the difference can be significant. Some people will have you believing the world is flat and then convince you it’s your fault for questioning it.

This is one of the BEST optometrist centers around in Clinton, MD. The customer service at my times of visits are always on point. The staff is polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They are Board Certified Eye Physicians and Surgeons. They get you in and out without you feel like you are being rushed. If you need an optometrist, I would highly recommend this place. Thank you, Greater Maryland Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
Can’t believe the bad review for this practice. Yes, sometimes the wait is a little long, but I want them to be thorough about my eye care. I love the staff here. They are friendly and pleasant, always! The drs are nice and upfront, always. I would give them nothing less than 5 stars. They have been very good to me on every visit and have taken very good care of me and my eyesight.
I've been a patient for years and this establishment (from Admin Staff to Doctors) is awesome! A special "thanks" to Danielle whos customer service is always above and beyond. Keep up the excellent work!
When calling to schedule an appointment, the first question they asked was, how will you pay as opposed to scheduling an interview. This approach appears insensitive and uncaring. When I expressed my reaction to being asked about how I would pay, the person answering the call, hung up the telephone. I was not rude nor did I use any foul language or say anything offensive. Which is more important to this practice: patient care or money? Makes me wonder. So glad there are other eye doctors nearby.
