I would not recommend this dental office. Before scheduling my appointment, I specifically informed the office that I had to leave my previous dentist because they no longer accepted my insurance. I asked whether this office accepted my insurance before booking the appointment, and I was told they did. My appointment was scheduled for 2:00 PM, and I arrived at 1:55 PM. I then waited approximately 30 minutes before being seen for registration. During the registration process, I was required to call my insurance company to obtain additional information, which caused the registration process to take nearly an hour. Once I was brought to the back, I explained that I had X-rays completed less than a year ago. After speaking directly with my insurance company, I learned that I could not have another set of X-rays covered until 12 months had passed. If I had them done sooner, I would be responsible for paying over $300 out of pocket. The front desk staff at Dr. Meena Mehta’s office informed me that they would not accept my existing X-rays, even if my previous dentist sent them directly to the office. I also had copies available by email. Since they were not willing to accept recent X-rays that were already available, it felt as though the office was more interested in charging for new X-rays than working with the information I already had. The doctor then brought me into a treatment room to discuss the matter further. I explained again that I had recent X-rays available and that my previous dentist could send them directly to the office. The registration staff had also instructed me to let the clinical staff know that I could not have new X-rays performed and made it seem as though my existing X-rays would be acceptable. However, I was then told that my X-rays could not be accepted. It is important to note that I was only there for a routine cleaning. I was not seeking any major dental work and did not have any significant dental concerns. Overall, this office wasted approximately an hour and a half of my workday. The experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The staff appeared disengaged, communication was inconsistent, and no one clearly explained the reasoning behind their policies. I left feeling that unnecessary services were being pushed and that my time was not valued. I would not recommend this office. My experience was frustrating, disappointing, and ultimately a complete waste of time.

The workers at Greenburgh health enter really care. I am a self pay patient and the struggles to keep up with healthcare expenses are so very costly and overwhelming. The lady at the front desk for check in was so very helpful with referring me to Yvonne Reid whom works in internal medicine. She is truly a gem. She was so compassionate and caring. She was just like a little angel God sent for me on a day where I was just feeling a so discouraged but she really assisted me in a way that gave me so much relief. Many blessings to her. She is out here doing God’s work .. Thank you !!!
The facility reminds me of a rundown DMV. Chairs are old and rundown and lined up in rows throughout the main waiting room. There are plaster patches and antiquated art work on the walls of the Dr. offices. It’s aesthetically suspicious. As prior posters have commented - the customer service is atrocious. They made me feel as though I inconvenienced them by trying to place an appointment. I literally had a woman in pediatrics express exasperation for the front desk not taking the appointment upon answering the phone after two Unanswered phone calls And transfers- and being placed on hold for an extended period of time. Placing the physical appointment was equally as inconvenient for the team since they had numerous people interrupting in front of them, and I had no idea if they were talking to me or them. I told them I needed to change my number so I had the pleasure of being transferred back to the front desk, I Simply expressed how rude of an experience I was receiving and continued to get interrupted and talked down to. I simply wanted to change my phone number at this point. They put me on hold for a manager. They never came. Needless to say, neither did I. I found myself a new practice. Bye!!
My acquaintance and experience with Semone Walker, Co-Interim Site Director & 340 B Coordinator at the Westchester Community Health Center (Greenburgh, NY), was pleasant, positive and very professional. Semone Walker consistently addressed me with courtesy and kindness, and she took time to make sure I was informed about the scope of services available at WCHC. I have been blessed and fortunate to benefit from the information and Site resources that were shared with me, and I'm thankful for the excellent medical services I received at WCHC. Each time I visited WCHC, Semone Walker and other staff members demonstrated consistent professional care, and provided an outstanding quality of service that I have not experienced in other medical facilities. I’ve also watched as Semone effectively led and coordinated essential services and resources for other community members who rely on these vital services. Semone Walker’s dynamic work ethics, effective communication and inter-personal skills, model the Mission Statement and values of WCHC to provide quality community healthcare services. I strongly believe she is a valuable asset to WCHC and the community members who rely on her commitment to continue providing patient care with a unique spirit of excellence. WCHC Patient - 2026
My cousin had an appointment with Dr. Meena Mehta, and her experience was very disappointing. She arrived on time and ended up spending nearly an hour and a half at the office without receiving treatment. She was told that the office would not accept recent X-rays from her previous dentist, even though they were less than a year old and could have been sent directly to the office. The staff provided conflicting information, communication was poor, and no one clearly explained the office’s policies. As someone who saw how frustrated and upset she was after leaving, I would not recommend Dr. Meena Mehta’s office based on how my cousin’s time and concerns were handled.
