Quick and efficient time getting in and out at Augusta Green Vision office this week. Staff does a very nice job staying attentive, and anticipating questions I had. Always a pleasant experience!
Great people here! Been coming here for years. They are very friendly, helpful and patient with my wife Shirley. As for me, I was in and out of there in less than an hour! They let me know about the special they have on and I took advantage of it.
The corporate franchise overlords have dug their claws in here. The rebates with contacts was NOT explained in the original appointment and the goofy salesman verbage tells me they're paid to push certain brands. I paid twice as much for my contacts, got half the amount I needed and basically told "it's better to pay more now than come back." I don't just HAVE $600. I had budgeted the money I had based on the listed product price - The rebates price. The actual price that you pay wasn't even listed on the paperwork I brought home. At all. Not in the fine print, bold print, nowhere. The doctor was condescending and dismissive, clearly eager to move on. I wish I had more to offer you, but he was literally only in there for 3 minutes. Introduced himself to his clipboard, told me I did terrible damage to myself and left. I left the appointment with questions I couldn't ask and disappointed. The only thing that saved it from one star was the nurses and reception staff. I won't be back, and I suspect that doesn't matter, but if you're reading this looking for an actual long term eye doctor, go somewhere else.
