The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Dr B speaks so low and quietly, almost a whisper. I even had hearing aids in and could not understand him. I was with him for 20 minutes and can't begin to tell you the results of the conversation.

This Is undoubtedly the 'Diamond in the Rough' of places to have your Eyes well taken care of. And Dr. Baumgardner is the finest OD and person you could ever meet. Dr. Baumgardner has put together a superb staff, assisted by his very knowledgeable and capable wife who also has Eye Care treatment expertise in addition to the office management side of health care services. The office is located in a quiet commercial business area where there's some very nice Mexican restaurants with a new one getting close to opening up . The mural was being painted on the side of the wall the same day I had my appointment. It's not a "Mall" type setting and there is ample parking. The waiting area is spacious and comfortable with a customer restroom available just outside of the waiting area. The location of the office is entirely un-remarkable, but you're going to be amazed at the selection of frames that are inside of this office. I didn't have to do a long search because the staff member who is tasked with the selection and fitting of the glasses found the right pair of frames for me that just seemed to have my nose and face on it. I have been to many Eye Care offices in my time and this is by far my favorite. Dr. Baumgardner is very skilled in his profession of Optometry. I highly recommend this Vision Care service business for all your Eye Care needs.

Dr Bumgardener is great. Always is. The tech who did my son and I’s exams was outgoing and fun. The woman helping me pick out glasses was not very helpful, slightly rude and seemed annoyed that I did not like the frames SHE chose for me. At one point she even asked, “Do you have somewhere else in mind to buy your glasses since you don’t seem to like the ones I’m showing you? Your prescription is yours. You can get glasses anywhere.” I felt rushed and embarrassed and for the second time while being a patient here, bought a pair of glasses that I will probably never wear. I have to have glasses. Matter of fact, tri-focals this time. I am a single parent with little money to spend on myself and was trying to see what my options were for progressive lenses vs regular lenses. Each time I asked for “total cost” of what might be my option, that seemed to annoy her as well. I started coming to this office because I knew Ms Debbie. I have brought my entire family for years now. This final experience has had me reconsider ever coming back.

My first time seeing Dr. Bumgardner., from the beginning to get started, the lady working, asked me to fill out paperwork. Then, after I was taken into the room to do the eye assessments, I was taken to another room where I would visit with the doctor and he relayed the results of the eye exams. He was very good at explaining the entire prognosis. I understood, had a couple of questions which the doctor answered and once again, he asked, do you have any further questions, at that we departed. I recommend this doctor and his staff to anyone that is interested and needs to have a good eye specialist. I am satisfied with the results. God Bless.

This Dr. Bumgardner and his office staff-icluding Mrs. Bumgardner are simply the very very best, in care, concern and overall experience.
