I’ve been going to this office since we moved to Haddonfield almost 10 years ago. Not only do I take both my children but my husband has gone there as well. I’m so disappointed to say that we will not be going there again. Now that premier eye associates has taken over Dr. Moon’s practice The billing is quite different. I had a $20 co-pay that turned into $160 payment for the visit. I was told that I would have to pay $60 for my daughter To receive a Contacts Script on top of the $20 co-pay and they have a non-negotiable $39 retinol exam fee. When I questioned three times if she could opt out of that retinol exam because she’s barely 18 and obviously not in Any danger of having macular degeneration. They said no. They should at least give you the option to opt out of that exam, especially if you are younger, and not having any sort of issues with your eyes at all. My daughter leaves for college in two weeks so because of lack of time we stayed for the visit. The visit ended up taking over two hours. When I was presented with the cost for the Contacts, it was absurd! We ultimately did not buy the contacts for them went to Costco and was able to get the contacts for a fraction of the price they quoted us. In Addition, We ordered glasses from them, but once we went to Costco and saw the Inflated prices the doctors office had I called and immediately had them cancel our order. I feel like I wasted two hours yesterday and was completely overcharged. Lesson learned, will not be going there again.
