They are great, I've seen both Dr. Harron and always had a pleasant experience almost always in and out for both glasses and contact prescription. They always make me feel at home. I don't even live in Athens anymore but make a point to come back at least a few times a year to visit, and at least a Friday if I can squeeze it once a year for an eye appointment. I don't even have eye insurance, I just pay the one-time fee once a year and everything is A-OK.

Had a first time visit today for my 10 yo son. Henry was great, funny and so easy going. Dr Harron was so patient and helpful. Stephanie helped with the checkout and gave me a lot of good information. I was in and out for a whole new exam and buying glasses in only 1 hour. SO thrilled I found them :)
Had a basic quickie eye exam to get an updated glasses prescription. Had asked pricing for medicare recipients before making appointment and paid what they asked at time of service. Medicare later paid an additional $112. Thought that was the end of it. Now a full year later I am being billed $141. This is a very poor way to do business and we won't be going back. Don't trust the prices they tell you.
Both my husband and I were seen at this location. Dr. Herron was great. We had issues with our glasses prior to seeing him. He assisted us with frame selections that would best support our transitional lenses. Prior to that we were unable to get full benefits of the Bifocal. We have worn glasses over 10years and no one has ever taken the time to assist and explain to us what we needed. Thank you guys so much for all of your help. :)
This place was the first vision place I have been to since moving to Georgia in which I was referred to by the pediatric office where my sons go. The staff was very dry and not too welcoming; especially, the much older vision associate. The communication between them was not cohesive to say the least because I made an over the phone appointment and was not informed of ALL information that I needed to bring with me. Even after they realized the discrepancy on their behalf due to a staff member who did not relay all details of insurance mandates, they still said they needed the particular information that I knew nothing about until the day of the appointment. I even asked if my son could still be seen or could I make a new appointment? They refused and said NO. I have never been to any doctor’s office that said you could not even make an appointment until their system had satisfactory with the given insurance. It really was an easy fix or something that could be brought back or given over the phone. I definitely made my grievance known to the staff before I left. The professionalism is terrible and the way they do business is even worse. If you’re looking for a vision place, BYPASS THIS ONE!
