Dr. Powers & his staff are the best, I can’t say enough positive things about him. Years ago, my wife temporarily lost her eyesight while showering. She called Dr. Powers, he said get down here, I’ll keep a staff member on & see you. Dr. Powers was in his Dunedin office (60 miles from our home in Spring Hill). Wife had to get a ride and did not arrive until 6;30 pm (I was at work). Dr. Powers stayed with her until 12:30 am to be sure she was ok. Turned out to be an ocular migraine which was not harmful. Any Dr. that cares that much about his patients is worth more than any anything. Great Dr.

I've been to a lot of doctors offices around Clearwater over the years and most of them feel like a factory. You wait forever, someone rushes in, rushes out, and you leave feeling like you interrupted their day. Healthy Vision Institute was nothing like that. Dr. Powers was calm, thorough, took his time. Front desk actually smiled. After my first visit they sent me a personal video from Dr. Powers welcoming me to the practice and I showed everyone in my family. Little things like that stick with you. Already recommended them to two people. Won't be going anywhere else."

I absolutely love seeing Dr. Powers. He is amazing. He saved my vision. I had bleeding behind my eyes and I didn’t even know it. He is very professional explains everything and has a wonderful staff.
