I Had a great experience at Heart of Florida Health Center in Dunnellon, and I want to recognize Amanda, one of the medical assistants, for the amazing job she does. She truly goes above and beyond for patients. Amanda is always kind, professional, and helpful. You can tell she genuinely cares about the people she is helping. Whether it’s answering phone calls, helping with medication refill requests, or working on prior authorizations, she handles everything with patience and efficiency. Even when the office is very busy and she is helping multiple providers, Amanda still takes the time to make sure patients feel heard and taken care of. She keeps things running smoothly and always has a positive attitude. It’s rare to find someone who works so hard behind the scenes to make sure patients get the care they need. Amanda is a huge asset to The Dunnellon Heart of Florida Health Center, and I want her to know her dedication definitely does not go unnoticed.

I had my first appointment today and I was pleased with the way they treated me . The way doc explained things to me. The way he literally listened to my concerns and help me understand things I had questions about. The office ladies nurses and such were so pleasant and kind to my daughter and her children. It was a good day for a new doctor! And im glad i switched!
The receptionist was great, the nurse was great, but the rest of it was the worst. I first saw Buncie. I could tell immediately she loathed being in the same room with me. She could not get out of there fast enough. Then for no apparent reason they had me start seeing Cunningham. Talk about treating someone like they're a burden. Condescending and impatient with a patient. Thinking of transferring to the Ocala office to see if I'm treated as a human again.
My experience with the medical assistant Amanda, is outstanding! The nurse practitioner Megan Buncie is a delight to talk to as well. I highly recommend this facility for your health care needs!
If you miss an appointment, they WILL NOT fill your prescriptions. Any of them. They don't care whether you die or not. All the medications I take, THEY prescribed. Its beyond the pale. It sucks to not be able to afford real Healthcare with real Physicians. 😒
