Dr. Pomokitis is always pleasant and professional. She gave me a good evaluation and some advice for me to follow. I was very satisfied with my visit!

I unfortunately have had to deal with an eye issue recently. So my dealings with Ocala Eye, was more than just a single visit. I have also been seen by multiple technicians and doctors on these visits. And I have been to three different Ocala Eye locations in connection to my issue. I will say that I had nothing but very positive experiences at all three locations. But I will focus this review mostly on this (8520 Sw State road 200) location. I like that it is easy to get in and out of this Ocala Eye location. They shares a driveway/road with a Wendy’s hamburger location. But there is a traffic light that makes entering and leaving Ocala Eye in either direction, a breeze. The only issue is that you may have to wait for the light depending on your direction. Parking seems adequate for this location. The office lobby isn’t the largest area. But again, I think it’s adequate for their needs. I have read about crowds and long wait times in other reviews before my first visit. But honestly, My first and longest wait was only minutes. All my other waits were almost non-existent. Although I have dealt with some wait time in the second waiting room, waiting for my eyes to dilate. As I mentioned there is a main waiting room, where you start out and anyone driving/accompanying folks tend to wait. The second waiting room is for patients waiting between seeing the technicians and the doctors. The room is darker (probably because of dilation sensitivity to bright light). This room has an infomercial type TV, and a small refrigerator with water. Every waiting or treatment room the I have been in, seemed adequately clean and such. And as I basically said earlier, I had no issues with any technician or doctor I dealt with. They were great and so far corrected the issue without issues. So I highly recommend them. I still have to visit Ocala Eye in the future pertaining to the existing issue. But even when I’m totally cleared and there is no need to go back, I’ll probably continue to use Ocala Eye for my vision care. No guarantee. But the odds are very much in their corner.
Dr.Elhalis was a great doctor, he listened and explained everything. Told me not to be nervous (but I was) and I had the cataract surgery and it was great! Prep time took the longest but the surgery itself was about 10 to 15 minutes. Now when I have the other eye done, I won't be all nervous as it was a piece of cake! Thank you and your team you are all amazing!
My surgery was in May 7 2026. I am very pleased with the care of Dr. VISH who did my cataracts surgery. I highly recommend Ocala Eye, specially Dr. Vish. His kindness, compassionate disposition and his professionalism was a positive experience. Thank you Dr. Vish and all your employees at your Ocala office and at Ocala Surgery Center specially: Lori Lisa Amanda Brandi Brooke Carmeshia Debby Roberta
I see lots of five stars here. It’s the very reason I had gone to Ocala Eye. But I’m one of those that had a problem and they are not taking any of the blame and yet the problem stems from them. Got a prescription for glasses that I had filled at Walmart because they are cheaper and do just as good of a job. My new glasses don’t work because the prescription is not correct for my left eye. Had the glasses checked by Ocala eye and they were made correctly to the script given to me. Walmart will not remake them because they did nothing wrong and now neither will Ocala eye. Who’s at fault here? Not me, yet I’m out over 400 dollars. So now I need to go to small claims court I guess to get my money back. I don’t think much of Ocala Eye business practices and neither should you. This is just horrible customer service at its best. My advice is to avoid and try somewhere else…
