Always greeted by very nice front counter staff. Waited 15 minutes for my initial appointment and after that the eye exam and selecting my frames went very smooth. Picked up my glasses 1 1/2 weeks later and everything was as ordered. Thank you Emily and staff at HFO.

Everything that we experienced was top notch. My husband and I were serviced promptly upon arriving and the assistance with choosing our glasses by the young lady was great. The young lady who assisted us with choosing was the same young lady who assisted us when picking up our glasses by the way we had 3 pair of glasses and they were back within a week. I would give them a 10 out of 10. Will return and will recommend.

If I’m being completely honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading some of the other Google reviews—but my experience was excellent. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles from Hara (I hope I got that right!) and Emily. I was quickly called back by Amal, who took great care of me. She explained she was the assistant, but honestly—she’ll make an outstanding optometrist one day. Dr. Ahmed was kind, thorough, and took the time to answer all of my questions. We discovered a slight change in my prescription, and I never felt rushed. She clearly explained the differences between the contact lenses I’ll be trialing, which I really appreciated. Afterward, Emily took the time to walk me through my benefits in detail. I’ll definitely be calling back to place my contact order. Overall, every single interaction was pleasant. The entire staff is knowledgeable, professional, and truly cares about their patients. I highly recommend this place.

I had the worst experience ever from any Henry Ford business at this location. The checkin attendant Harwaa advised me the system was down upon my arrival and was trying to speed through my check-in process. I was trying to clarify the information and her responses were combative and condescending. I continued to ask questions and she told me she was done with me and pretty much tried to dismiss me to my seat like a child. I asked her to answer my questions and told her it’s her job to answer the patient question, I’m only following up based on answers that she gave me. She told me she does not have to do it and grabbed her belongings. I said, if you cant handle pressure then, let me speak to the manager, she said he’s out until next week and left me standing there with no help and never returned. She left other patients documents on the desk and only grabbed her personal items. Another person from the floor came over eventually to respond to my questions. I have never been dismissed in such a rude way, I even tried to calm Haraa down, and she refused to do so. All of this happened in front of my child. I was so upset I couldn't stay for my exam. The others in the office were professional but with no manager available, I felt helpless. I’m sure no consequence will happen to Harwaa, which is why she felt so confident in her actions. She had terrible emotional regulation for an adult working in a professional environment. I am hoping to speak with management next week.

I had a great visit with Dr. Bruce Wolffis and the staff at OptimEyes in Plymouth. I’ve always had a tough time visiting the eye doctor because of sensitivity to bright lights, but Dr. Wolffis and his nurses made it so that I would feel comfortable and made me feel calm. One of the best optometrists I’ve ever met, the staff go above and beyond for their patients!
