Dr was nice enough to squeeze me in last minute due to irritation in one of my eyes. She was very helpful and made me feel comfortable. The front desk staff were also friendly. Costs were reasonable as well.

The lack of followup, wrong prescriptions, and delays in products makes this one of the worst businesses I have ever experienced. I want to help local businesses, but it's the last time I will give Heritage Valley Eye Careless Center my business. Two years in a row I have had to have my lenses sent back. Last Friday I called after over three weeks went by and was told I would get a call back after they checked to see if they had been delivered to their Santa Paula office. No call. It's now Tuesday and I have been on hold for over 16 minutes. At 17 minutes I was hung up on. I was once on hold for 30 minutes. Unacceptable.
Not taking medical at the moment??? Since when I grew up in fillmore very surprised they don't medical 🙄 what a disappointment 😒 after 30 years i guess I have to find someone else
The service is okay, but their pricing is outrageous. I’ve gotten three pairs of glasses here in three years. They have always been more expensive than other optometrists, but Ive tolerated it because it wasn’t egregious and I wanted to support local businesses. This time however, they charged $267 Oakley Airdrop frames that everywhere online go for $122. When I asked about it they tried to explain it away, saying I was only paying $147 with insurance. As if my insurance was somehow their justifiable discount. By the way, they’re eye exams are also $30-$40 more than optometrists in Santa Clarita or Thousand Oaks. They’re shameless The sad part is they are the only optometrist in town, so they’ll just continue as is….providing decent service at stupidly outrageous prices
Dr. Luekenga is absolutely the best! He’s so knowledgeable and keeps you informed on the condition of your eyes as he’s examining them . The staff is always wonderful and very accommodating, especially Lorena. I’ve been a patient for around 15 years, maybe longer and have never been disappointed in their care. Highly recommend!
