Herslof Opticians

I walked in for a simple fix of one of my handles that came off. Bart was so helpful and simply made my day. The location is so peaceful in itself. I love Herslof but really wish some other locations was like this one in Wauwatosa. Thank you Bart for being so kind, peaceful and pleasant!

Got exams done June 05, 2026 and left glasses for myself and daughter to get prescription added. I also paid the $15 "fee" they charge for having your own frames. Wait time 3-4 weeks COOL normal procedure. I called at 5weeks and was told by the male worker "IF WE DIDNT CALL YOU YOUR GLASSES ARENT READY IT TAKES 3-4 WEEKS " I said sir it's coming ip on 6 weeks and he proceeded to say they're not there. Here it is July 20 and still no glasses called AGAIN and was told my glasses were never sent out because I didn't pay the $15 which I in FACT did pay. So here we are few days shy of 8weeks no call, no contact and more disappointing NO GLASSES !!! Really sad how fast you're money is taken but services aren't properly rendered and customer service just isn't customer service

Zariah and christine were so kind and patient with me and my son when we visited for his appointment. This is our 1st experience with anyone in our family having to wear glasses and they were patient and answered all of our questions! I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

They no longer have contact lenses in stock in their office. I have to go online to order them. How inconvenient is that!!! They also have a bad selection of glasses. One last thing, if you have a certain type of insurance, you have to call a DIFFERENT phone number to make an appointment.

Zero stars if able to. Appointment line and office are not on the same page. Please don't upset yourself by scheduling it's a complete disaster. That's me saying that in a nice way. Don't have an unfortunate event like a staff member calling out and you can't make it the same day. The appointment line won't tell you, you can't reschedule for 90 days. That's something this office should voice in the BEGINNING saying that from perspective. This encounter completely pissed me off.
