Hockemeyer Family Eye Care

Unfortunately no longer happy with the service here. I've been there twice in the last 2 weeks and never able to complete my exam--first time they didn't move my appointment to their "new schedule," second time I showed up and was informed about a new acquisition making my copay much higher than before, which I declined. No one called to inform me ahead of time, and the receptionist's comment was, "Well aren't you glad we didn't just wait until after? We wanted patients to know up front." Up front would have been before I hired a babysitter for the second evening and wasted my time and money!

For sure not returning. Not sure if someone purchased them or what but we are done after today. The lens transition to dark is a waste with this new lab. Sitting my glasses in pure outside sunshine they are barely "gray". All the times before they had a "darker" option, that is no longer the case and for the amount of money we pay for this I should've passed and just bought some sunglasses. What a waste! Time for a new provider!

Dr. Hockemeyer is absolutely lovely. The staff was rude, unhelpful and complete snobs. Usually order a years worth of contacts and glasses, didn’t do that because the desk lady that handles checkout is a rude snob

first time at Hockemeyer eye care. overall the staff was very friendly, and i have nothing but kind words for dr. Fuelling. however, i asked a few questions about my bill before paying and the women who checked me out was rude and very condescending.

Great experience, they always are ready for my appointment and do not make me wait when I check in for very long at all. Great staff, very good culture.
