Horizon Eye Care

I just moved from St Louis MO to the Charlotte area where my STL retina doctor referred me to Steven Ryder. After my first visit yesterday I feel I’m in good hands to continue my retina treatments. He had thoroughly reviewed the treatment records from my previous doctor and then listened to my concerns. He performed extensive tests before putting me on a regular treatment schedule that I feel comfortable with. I was as impressed with his staff as I was with Dr Ryder. Everyone was very welcoming, professional and efficient. I feel confident that I’m getting the best treatment for my condition.

Dr. Minkowski performed my cataract surgeries. Both went smoothly without incidence. I was worried at first but he listened. Then he calmly explained all the options, answered my questions and told me what to expect during the procedure. Both days of surgery went great. And the post op has been smooth. Thank you Dr. Minkowski!

I just want to say how amazing this office was for my 2 children who are teenagers and noticed how kind and attentive the staff was. Marion at the front desk was such a delight to speak with, answered all of my questions, took an interest in both kids, and was just amazing. The clinical optometrist & contacts lens specialist were amazing as well, and had both of my kids engaged in conversation! Dr Patel was amazing. Patient, very thorough and such a refreshing experience! Go there!!! You will not be disappointed!

My visit with the Doctor was very good. I felt reassured after talking with him. I really enjoyed talking with Carolyn Jackson also. She used humor and with to make me feel good about the whole process.

I really like my opthalmologist a lot. She answered my questions after doing necessary tests. Now I know what is wrong and how to correct it. She's a very amicable doctor. I appreciated her taking time to solve my issues.
