Dr Thomas always has caring and capable eye evaluations. Because he cares enough to help with a patient's need of immediate care, sometimes my appointment takes longer, but I never mind because he will take extra time for me when it is needed.
Had appointment at August 4th 2026 at 2:10pm its 2:45pm. They say it will be another hour. They CONSISTENTLY OVER BOOK ON PURPOSE they book appoints 10 min apart ... there is no way u can get an eye exam in 10 minutes
I return every year to Houston Eye Associates because of the whole experience. Dr Justus Thomas is very thorough with eye exams and explaining the after care. He listens to my concerns and is genuinely kind and very professional. He's awesome! The staff is very professional and communicated well. On the day of my appointment the front desk personnel was dealing with a new software system which can be challenging in the beginning but they maintained their professionalism. Kudos to all the staff!!
I have been a patient of Dr Justus Thomas since 2013. To describe my experiences with the service he provides is more than 5 stars. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone who needs and wants a specialist that takes care of his patients. had a very disappointing experience. After waiting nearly four hours, I learned during the vision check that I could not see from my left eye, which was extremely concerning. When the doctor came in, the visit lasted only a few rushed minutes. He did not address my questions about urgency or next steps and left the room while I was still speaking, without any clear conclusion. I initially thought he would return, but instead I was left with the assistant, who was unable to answer most of my concerns and simply advised me to call back if needed. The entire encounter felt impersonal and inefficient, and more business-focused than patient-centered. I left feeling like a number rather than a patient receiving attentive care.
