Dr. Thakkar is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely kind, which made the entire experience feel comfortable and reassuring. She took the time to be thorough in a way that truly stands out compared to other places I’ve been. Nothing felt rushed and every question I had was answered with care and clarity. It’s rare to find someone who combines expertise with such a compassionate approach. Overall, just beyond great. I also want to say that Jeanette was so helpful in choosing glasses as well as being so kind and compassionate about the entire process. I highly recommend Dr. Thakkar and Illinois Eye Care Center. After so long, I’ve finally found an amazing clinic and that is such a relief!

Dr Kent Aide is warm, friendly, but professional. He is honest in his assessment of the best approach to your eye care. I wouldn’t see anyone else!

I have been seeing dr. Aide from last 15+ years or so, He is one of the best eye doctor. Savior in two incidents, caught my husband's hypertension and sent him to ER just in time and caught retinal detachment at early stage and recommended best eye doctor and saved eyes too. Always prefer dr. Aide to be our family eye doctor.

Pattie was extremely helpful and took the time to review my needs. She made sure my glasses were exactly what I wanted and needed.

Dr Aide was, as always, professional and courteous did an additional unscheduled test instead of having to reschedule, which was a great convenience.
