Illinois Eye Center

Having been to a different eye center for the last several years, I recently made a change to Illinois Eye Center. I could not be happier or more impressed than I am. The professionalism, knowledge and explanations, courtesies, patient relations, considerations, promptness, and atmosphere are far superior to that of my former eye care provider. The ease of becoming a new patient and being seen by a specialist and in scheduling appointments and surgeries, was a breeze in comparison. My daughter had urged me for the last couple years to make the change but I was hesitant because the center I left was nearer my home . After my first visit I knew I made the right choice.

I’m a first time customer at Pekin Illinois Eye Center. I was impressed with the staff and especially Dr Wilson who did my eye exam. Having type 1 diabetes, it was important to me to have an experienced Dr and to have a thorough examination on my eyes. This was pleasantly accomplished. I love the glasses I pick out. The lady helping me with glasses selection and lens type was very helpful and genuine. I’ve already made my appointment for next year.

Dr. Eyler recently removed cataracts from both eyes. The results are amazing. Chose the standard lense for near vision and I am posting this with no glasses. Quick and painless. If you need this do not put it off.

Super friendly staff! The doctor we saw was one we had at Bond eye so it was nice seeing a familiar face! They answer your questions in ways you can understand. They work with your schedule when making appointments as well. Highly recommend Illinois Eye Center!

Dr. Kilarn has been my Opthalmologist at Illinois Eye Center for 3 years. He has performed surgery on both my eyes and also did cataract surgery at the same time. I was diagnosed with glaucoma in 1983 at the age of 27. After 40 years of treatment I was referred by Christie Clinic Opthalmologist in Champaign when my eye pressure kept increasing and drops weren't helping. By the time I met with Dr. Kilarn, my right pressure was dangerously high, I was put on oral medication that day yo bring the eye pressure downand scheduled for surgery. I feel blessed to gotten an appointment so quickly with Dr Kilarn. He is so warm and friendly, calm, highly skilled, and professional. My surgery was successful and things continue to be good. I am continuing my care with Dr Kilarn for my 6 month checkups. I feel Dr Killarn has gone out of his way for me. 2 winters ago when my partner and I were in Northern California for 3 months, Dr. Kilarn referred me to a medical school colleague in the San Francisco area so we could go on our trip and I could have a fu appointment to check on my surgery results. All of my experiences with at Illinois Eye Center personnel has been excellent! I can't imagine things being better anywhere else.
