Dr. Nguyen was fantastic. My husband had an eye emergency on a Sunday, and this was the only office that could fit him in at the last minute. Dr. Nguyen was responsive, kind, and communicative throughout the entire visit. She quickly identified that he had scratched his eye and prescribed antibiotics. He started feeling better that same day. We’re very grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to anyone.

I tend to have mixed feelings about this place. It took a long time for me to even realize how much of a problem I was having here. They do a very good job examining you very thorough, but my issue is how they treat you. They don't treat you like you are a patient. A person, they treat you kind of like an experiment. They talk about you in front of you, but not to you. They don't explain things very clearly to you. And I know they're students, so they're learning, but I would assume that they would have learned how to treat the patients before they started dealing with the patients.
I am absolutely so impressed with Illinois Eye Institute. I am 52 years old and was finally diagnosed with an eye issue I've struggled with my whole life! I struggle to drive at night with really bad night glare and also can't see people if they are wearing dark clothing at night. I struggle to see at all in certain retail stores, but now I know why and how to deal with it... SIMPLY, I might add. They gave me two simple tests that I'd never ever had before to figure this out. Truly ecstatic! Thank you so much to Hamza and Dr. Chung in the Contacts section. I couldn't be happier. 😍💪☺️
Sent my husband there for urgent eye care, his eye was very red bloodshot swollen from some wood log debri that got into his eye. after a week of pain and many emergency hospitals and clinics all just prescribing eye drops. Illinois eye Institute did xray, eye wash cleaning, and very throughout eye exam same day walk in. He loved that he was well taken care of. He is definitely going again for follow up appointment.
I’m in urgent care as we speak the students are very loud unprofessional rude and unkind. Not a friendly helpful environment at all. Not welcoming everyone is whispering and giggling like they never seen an eye scratch before. If your already irritated this is not the place to come every female in here had been a headache from the moment I walked in. Sitting in urgent care while they laugh and giggle while I hadn’t been helped for 30 min is crazy to me
