InFocus Eyecare – South Beach

I had an appointment with InFocus Eye Care South Beach and my experience was shockingly unprofessional. The "manager", Eddie Lopez, dismissed my questions while scribbling on paper, barely acknowledging me, and snapped that I’d asked the same thing 3 times, when that not only rude but not factual as he was very curt and not good at explaining, even giving me a price that was inaccurate. He quoted a price for glasses which turned out to be inaccurate when I checked with the front desk. His behavior was inappropriate, unprofessional and extremely rude!

Eddie and Dr. Molino are absolutely the best. If you are looking for personal genuine care look no further and stop in this hidden gem. They also offer valet for your visit.

These guys are the best!! I ran out of contacts, and these guys saved my day. No appointment needed, they were willing to put an order in for me, and they gave me a trial pack of Acuvue oases so that I wouldn’t have to wait for new contacts to arrive. Very classy experience!! Would totally come back.

I was quoted $250 over the phone for a routine eye checkup. My card was charged $547 — nearly double what we were told for a standard exam. There is no justification for this. To make it worse, my girlfriend specifically told them she needed everything to order glasses online. They still left the Pupillary Distance off her prescription. When we called to get it, they said we’d need to come back in and pay even more. So not only did they overcharge us by hundreds of dollars, they deliberately withheld information we explicitly asked for just to squeeze more money out of us. This is the most predatory pricing I have ever experienced from a medical office. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Check your bill line by line and demand your full prescription details before you pay, because this office will not provide them willingly.

Great experience, Dr Molino and staff were very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The whole team worked like a well oiled machine. The eye exams were seamless and so was purchasing a pair of glasses. Will be going back yearly for vision exams and new frames. 10/10 would recommend!
