This place made a simple eye checkup and prescription check much more complicated than it needed to be. What should have been a prescription check was split into three different “services.” Each of them had a separate charge. We were billed for three different processes that were all related to one process, and the explanations each billing were unclear. The eye exam itself was also rushed and unprofessional. The doctor told me my prescription had not changed, but the appointment was so quick that it didn’t feel like a thorough evaluation. Lastly, the optometrist (Joel) was rude when we asked for clarification about the fees. Instead of explaining the charges clearly, he was annoyed and rushed me to pay. Overall, the experience was disappointing and unnecessarily expensive. I do not think I will be coming back again.

Avoid. Very disappointing experience. I was billed for lenses I never received. I called twice to ask about my glasses, and both times staff said they were still being processed. After three weeks, I called again and was finally told the lab couldn’t make the lenses because my frame didn’t have demo lenses. Later, I found out my insurance benefits for both lenses and contacts had been used. Staff insisted they didn’t bill and told me someone would call me back — but no one ever did. When I called again, they told me to wait or contact another location myself. I confirmed with my insurance company that this office did bill for the lenses. Very unprofessional and irresponsible staff. Would not recommend.
I have been with Dr Jennifer Wang for quite some time: she treated my son's when they were young and now just me. Always very pleasant and very professional. When we get together, we always spend a few minutes to catch up. Besides the eye exams, she operated on my left eye to remove a small spot: like a birth mark. I have always been very satisfied with my eye care, treatment and the results of my eye care. I am getting the best medical care in the valley.
Dr Wang is an outstanding doctor and has treated my eye stye, and allergies both expertly on different visits. She is friendly, and always spends time to ascertain the problem before giving prescription.
PLEASE READ I've been going to ophthalmologists my whole life. In 4 countries and had two cornea transplants. I know what I'm talking about. My opinion about this place: # Is not reliable. The prescription they gave me is wrong. I mean VERY WRONG. It's just unbelievable. Axis came from 5 to 155 degrees. Cylindrical was -4.50 and they gave me a +4.00. I also think they mixed left with right eyes. Crazy crazy crazy stuff. # Horribly outdated equipment. You will feel like going back in time, it's the 90s, and the clinic is underfunded. Everything is falling apart. I struggle to see through those exam lenses. # Undertrained staff. The poor young technician girl was struggling to perform basic exams. At one point she gave up and said she wasn't comfortable and I would need to reschedule with a doctor. (Thanks God) # they will try to rip you off. Read everything they give you to sign! I questioned some disclosed charges and they just ooopsed me a couple of times. "Oops, someone didn't do his job" said the front desk woman. Believe me! Even Costco has better equipment and better trained staff. Just don't waste your money here.
